    Is that because it's a song you can't really jump around to? Interesting.the vocals are the best bit for me. Anyway, the whole song is over-the-top! Is it so unfitting that his vocals are?

    Wow, I think its a pretty exciting song to see live. I suppose it never creates the mosh pits that their other rock songs do nor are there any points you can jump around.

    Yeah, especially since the transition happens sooner for Survival than New Born. Maybe next tour he'll hand the piano work over to Morgan.

    But it would pretty much sound the same which is what I presumed you were fine with. Basically I want to see them play the instruments live and not have someone else playing it for them because they can't be bothered. It makes the performance less special.

    It doesn't bother me that New Born is played slower these days. During the performances at Teignmouth or Leeds fest I never thought 'this sounds too slow / would sound better if it was faster.' Matt not playing the piano intro does ruin the song however (not really controversial).

    Yes. Probably the best 'live' song they've done since BH&R.

    I also like Explorers. At least it has sincerity, a valued quality which seems rare for a muse song these days.

    Some songs (Hysteria - especially, TSP...) work well with distortion mic's but most don't in my opinion.
