  1. That's what I also made of it. But the funny thing is, every time I tried to concentrate to figure out what he was saying, and played it again and again, I couldn't understand a word. Then when I finally gave up and just listened to the album without concentrating on that line, I suddenly understood it all
  2. Same here Even the Slipknot-stuff doesn't make me laugh that much anymore, but this... Too funny for words. Especially the "haaaaallllieeeennn" thing... Hilarious And as mentioned before, the way he just keeps talking and talking while laughing
  3. That's what I liked most about that interview: he's laughing like crazy but still keeps talking and talking I would give up talking and just laugh, and maybe try again after a minute. But he just keeps going
  4. Well the good side is that at least, they give the money and anything else that's needed for those bands to record their music and sell it to us. So many great bands would have remained unknown without the record companies and their big money!
  5. I think you could be surprised about how much power record labels actually have. Yes it's their music, they wrote and recorded it, but I'm still convinced the record labels are the real owners of the music. On the other hand, a band like Muse probably has much more freedom than a young band who just signed their first record deal. So yes, they can say no more often than other artists. The bigger the artist, the more power he has... But only to a certain extent If I'm listening to an interview by telephone with Matt for example, and after ten minutes I hear a lady grabbing the phone, "last question please!", with Matt just giggling and saying nothing, I wouldn't quite call it freedom (and okay this hasn't much to do with the record company anymore, it's just another example)
LOL

  7. Not yet, I'm waiting for an answer about the tickets. A colleague of mine who's also going, will contact them as well, I'm curious.

Yes sure I know Düsseldorf! Been there too  But I did the same as you: I put Brussels because everyone knows it, but in fact I live in a town JUST outside Brussels... But it's only ten minutes by car from Brussels and I've always been to school there, work there, even lived there for about 10 years, so that's "my" city, I love it there :)

  8. Hi! Thx for the message :) Yes I'm from Belgium, Flemish (Dutch) speaking, but I also speak French quite fluently. I'm from Brussels, most people speak French there, and at the schools in Brussels, the French courses are much more intensive as well (and start at an earlier age).

I see you're from near Cologne, which isn't even that far :) But I've only been once in Cologne so far, to see Aerosmith at the Köln Arena, and then I also took the opportunity to explore the city and do some shopping ;)

  9. I don't think he really said it as a joke, but that he added a little bit to the story, and actually "only" meant "throwing stuff around". But let's be honest: "trashing the bathroom" sounds cooler than "throwing my toothbrush away because I couldn't find the toothpaste", doesn't it?
  10. Well I wouldn't call it normal but still I'm rather familiar with that kind of situation, my own mother does that all the time I hear her throw everything around in the kitchen because she can't find, say, the potato knife (is that the right word???), while I'm watching TV, knowing I don't even have to bother going into the kitchen and ask her what the problem is, as she'll just go: "yeah, I'm crazy, I had the knife just a minute ago, and now it's gone so this crazy lady is throwing everything out of the cupboard to find it because she's blind, yeah your mother is blind" etc After that I usually come and clean up the mess, and she goes "it's alright, I'll clean it up" How polite.
