Yeah, I figured it wouldn't work the same with the independent blend controls on each. Did you keep the animated in mind when voicing this, or did it just turn out that way because it's a tested and proven combination? Also... Animated and Voskhod in a single enclosure? And will it blend?

I read that a few times, and I'm still not entirely sure what he means in that first sentence. Remember the posts about the SM57 copy? He really lost it when that happened, although people did go a bit far with that one.

Have you still got your access virus? Or did you get rid of it after tczechan said it was shit? But yeah, I'd get it. It's going to be a lot louder than your stock pickup, but you can tame it a bit with the blend control. I was REALLY impressed by that. If you want something comparable to the stock pickup as far as output goes, the PF-1 would probably be better though.

Yeah I've heard it, but not used it myself - I'm not sure how comparable it is to the motherbucker really. Sounds quite a bit fuller and more usable overall. What guitar you thinking of getting it for?

Likely just the string. Does this have the graphtech saddles? You might want to check that it's not cracked (could have happened in shipping) or significantly lower than the others (might be lowering itself because of the string tension, but it shouldn't be) And I wouldn't mess with it. Apparently the way the wires are routed also is important with the sustainiac.
