  1. https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/tom-kramn-and-the-entire-digitech-dod-team-are-reportedly-fired.1940125/ Not good... time to grab a few of those pedals I think.
  2. Exactly. I recall TVL actually said reverb's attempt at the sound was too distorted, and that was one of the cleaner sounding ones. Here's my attempt. Didn't actually require 'breaking the bank' for most of the setup... actually being able to find such old and obscure gear is another story though. 3. Probably the best one I've seen actually. Needs the PDF-1 set differently, but at least they're not using too much gain like everyone else.
  4. While that transition didn't work for a Muse song, the question is... would it work for a QOTSA song? He might be onto something, but I have no recollection of what chord that was. Probably an imperfect Bb5. Also, having brought up the subject of the board wiki yesterday... I did find jon's page. Likely NSFW. I also had the entire K&T page and everything linked to it, along with all images (including william turner's masterpiece) in a zip file, but I can't find it....
  5. Yes, of course. Here's one of my favorite examples. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Y8KK8d47Sk It's like that time Bs quoted one of his own posts - it was literally one of his posts inside another one. It's something that shouldn't work, but it doesn't make enough sense for it to NOT work either. It was more Joey's reaction that made me think it wasn't planned though. The initial pause, and then the nod of "That transition... Not bad.... for a bassist"
  6. Is it QOTSA thread again yet? This just surfaced. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyKrpO55GKE I get the impression that the rest of the band didn't plan for that to happen at 48 minutes in
  7. Fair enough. Surely that fuzz synth sound alone is worth the current price though? Nice. Wonder who that could be.
  8. We all should be ashamed of ourselves. Yes you certainly do. 10-52 gauge? I have one of those. Never used the expression function though.
  9. Wow. I didn't think I'd offend that many people. Back to K&T serious discussion then... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hiwatt-DR-103-Tube-Guitar-Amp-Amplifier-DESTROYED-FOR-PARTS-AS-IS-/222836065209 Has Pete got a new signature model?
  10. The basic one that's listed at $49. Actually haven't taken it out of the packaging yet. Time will tell. and you should add them to your basket on MGW. I don't think you can actually save anything on there, so you can only clear it buy purchasing the contents. Or at least that's what it says in the guerrilla marketing contract I have with them.
  11. Really? I think it's a bit early for Bs to be doing that. On the other hand, he always seems to plan things out pretty carefully, and it only resulted in disaster once...
  12. Bacon grease?...Oh wait, forgot this wasn't TGP. Have you seen these? I might get some if the locking bits fit the existing strap buttons https://www.mansonguitarworks.com/index.cfm/product/schaller-s-locks-new-2018-product--178 #MakeGibsonGreatAgain
  13. I get the impression that it was just that initial batch of T2L guitars that were around 2.4kg. I don't think they're still weight relieving the hardware and stuff like that. Also, Bs is online. I realize it's not a school night, but does he not realize it's getting close to after breakfast tomorrow?
  14. Yeah, it is, isn't it. And I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few T2L era guitars, but probably nothing that's heavier than a certain weight! I forgot about those bombers...the stealth ones were really nice actually.
  15. Actually, he has at least four of them now. The original two with ebony fretboards, and two newer ones with pau ferro. Here's the newer black one I think someone pointed out that there was another red alert as well (different logo color) But not sure, maybe it's just a different neck, as it did get thrown around at one gig.
  16. Only by watching the videos (best way to find out, as it resulted in so much misinformation on musewiki...) But what I meant was that I don't think it's new. I know I saw a third one before, with a pau ferro fretboard (rather than ebony like the original pair) but I can't remember if it was a black one or metal one.
  17. I can't keep track anymore. I know there was a third 'MIDI whammy' guitar, but I can't remember if it was a black or metal one.
  18. You're floor isn't big enough for the amount of guitars you have? I feel your pain.
