  1. Wasn't able to tell by your tone... I'm sure Matt could give you some advice on how to improve it. ...I'll see myself out now.
  2. You all are spreading false rumors again. I don't think he'd quit using it just because the phaser is broken, as the FF is much more important for that song. I'd say he more than likely wanted to try this synth pickup or whatever it is Basically, #textures yeah that Did we ever find out what that hammer jammer looking thing was? Because it wasn't actually a hammer jammer, but looked similar. Wasn't this for sale recently? Or have you bought it????
  3. I imagine it depends where it's going, but usually 3-5 days (provided they find the house)
  4. Well you don't want it sitting in a warehouse over the weekend. And that depends. It can take anywhere from two days to two months.
  5. But, but...you can't show us pictures and then tell us it's not after breakfast. I mean... of all the pictures of taken of full english breakfasts, do you think I actually uploaded them immediately, or waited until I finished it and managed to get a good internet connection? I'm not going to wait while my breakfast gets cold, so you'll never see a picture posted beforehand. Is it just the squealing issue?
  6. Yes, we will.... Has the new one arrived yet, or did they not find your house again?
  7. I don't know. I'm waiting for Dom's comments on the fact that everything is black except for the X-Y pad. But having said that, it seems like if you want the LEDs to show properly, it has to be white.
  8. I think it was usually the handmade parts that were brass, but I might be wrong. If that's the usual schaller bridge and tailpiece, I think those are actually made of steel, but the saddles are brass. Have you definitely seen them with set necks? And that is unusual. Maybe not as unusual as a mahogany cap over an ash body though #ToneRecipe I suppose you could tell for sure by looking inside the neck pocket.
  9. Well if the customer wants it... like that guy from New Zealand wanted a fuzz factory in Olly's pelham MA... or THAT guy who requested a mini X-Y in your sxc stealth... Unrelated, but have you still got your unsustainable MIDI file? I think I've got the first "drop" pretty close (haven't started the mid section yet) but need to do some minor adjustments in the automation. Wouldn't mind seeing what you have to compare. This was sold ages ago, but any thoughts?
  10. What's the model number for the Strat? I would think if it's one of the ST-62 models, it would be alder And yes you do. 1983 Kestrel?
  11. Did you get it new? Those pickups look proper aged How thick is the veneer on the MIJ? I'm guessing it's not thick enough to add any significant weight to it And what you really need is a guitar from your birth year. Like sherpa_man and his 1981 LP customs... which I believe he no longer owns. #NorlinEra
  12. Now listen here son. I've been playing since the 60s and.... Wait. But yes, I can understand that. What were the options at the time? I know your first 'good' guitar was the MIJ Strat, and I wouldn't think that's a terribly heavy one, but like you say... there were FAR less affordable good quality ones back then.
