    Was he quite short with a lot of bushy hair! We had a sound guy like that at a gig and sometimes he gets it spot on but the times he fucks up its a monumental fuck up.

    YAY! At last a guitarist with some sense of volume. The guitarist and the bass player in the band keep turning it up and it always bleeds into the vocal mics. The last gig was so loud I had to have earplugs and I wished I wasn't so close to the amps. They've been told time and time again to turn down but they just fiddle with the knobs and then turn it back up again after just one song. And lead guitarist needs to be taught to NOT put new strings on the guitar 10 mins before a gig!

    Well the band my boyfriend is in now sometimes has 3 on stage, sometimes it has 5 and on other rather busy times has 7, the lead and bass players always stand forward of the drum kit and so when the others climb on stage to do their thing, he ends up with a wall of people in front of him and he doesn't get to see the crowd at all. I'm not sure if he had the same hassles when he was in The Veil, but there used to always be a scrum for the monitors. It sucks if you're always the one doing the setting up. You should ask for 2 wages, one as a performer and one as the roadie.

    Yeah, but playing drums shouldn't be classed as a lesser instrument. My boyfriend has been getting this crap with his band for years, right down to people in the band just placing their drinks on his drum kit, or even sitting on it during a gig! A musical instrument that you have to take time to learn should be just as visible as the next. I hate having to struggle to see every member of a band. I had a friend, years ago, he was a fantastic drummer, but sadly at the age of just 29 he died. Even sadder was that every gig photo of them playing, you couldn't see him. It got into the local paper, but the photo they used was a really grainy one from a rehearsal.

    My son got mugged at knife point in January, then again in February. Cheek of it was, it was the same drugged up loser. We got the police involved but they didn't get him.

They're 17 now and have a few gigs under their belt as well. He's changed his name from Graham to Logan for personal reasons, he plays drums and is the singer in the band. Co-songwriter as well with Karl, aka Beano. He doesn't do message boards unless it's to do with xbox360 lol. That's why I'm plugging it for him.

    Oh blimey, I've been on here today since about 3 pm I think.

    The new album plopped onto my mat last Saturday and I've actually been blown away by it.

    Popped in to see if there was any news and got hooked into the whole "muse swap instruments in itally" thread. Been in there and on the banter thread today.
