Quick general Muse Fan question... Las Vegas Mandalay Bay 3/2 was my first MUSE show and I was super excited. And they did not disappoint, show was amazing from production to song choices to sound it was just awesome.  I have been to other rock concerts from Tool, Metallica and 9inch nails to more mainstream stuff like green day, offspring and no doubt. Never ever in my life have I SAT at a show start to finish I'm on my feet and so are the people around me. At MUSE tho eveyone around me sat for most of the show...it struck me as odd but is this a thing I should know for my next go around????

You just had bad luck and were in a section with a sucky crowd.  Sorry!  I've only ever had seats to a handful of Muse shows (I always do GA), and I've always stood.  I have a seat for the Florida gig and I fully plan on standing.

I usually don't sit either, but it took forEVER to get into the venue for us at Mandalay(something must have happened at security) and the line wrapped all the way around the casino floor and all the way to the back of the venue. It took us so long to just to get in -- probably the longest entry line that I've ever experienced in my concert going history-- it was really ridiculous. My old ass was tired once inside. 😂  I stood on the floor to photo for the first few songs, but I was so thankful that I had a seat to go to after and sit. So I sat for the rest of the show, only getting up a bit during the medley. 🤷‍♀️

I stood up for the next two shows though and bobbed around a bit.

Not enough people appreciate the wonders of sitting down after a long day or just being a lazy garbage boi such as myself. Not that I necessarily encourage sitting at a Muse show but I am at all times very sleepy. 😴

I was at The Forum (3/11) and I had to keep looking behind me to see if the folks seated there were standing up or sitting (so I wasn't blocking their view) and they kept fucking about and sat, stood, sat, stood...it was making me paranoid, lol. But I'm neurotic like that. When I saw them in Seattle we stood up and a security gaurd came and told us to sit down. I try to go with the flow and do what the people around me are doing, but I really can't fathom sitting for a concert (unless it's for a chronic pain/disability, ofc).
