I'm flying from Gatwick at 06.50 with Aer Lingus (Ryanair's first flight is too late), arriving Dublin 08.05. Flying back to Gatwick at 07.45 Sunday morning with Ryanair (was cheaper to do it that way than booking both flights with Aer Lingus). Would cost me too much/too long to travel to Stansted and back and will be too tired for it after landing back there at 09.15 on Sunday morning. To have a couple of hours driving or three hours on trains does not appeal! I'm less than an hour by train from Gatwick so will go up to late Friday night. Don't know how much those flights are now but in total they cost me about £50 when I booked last Thursday.
