It took me weeks to record them - if you don't send a recording, your songs will go in the bin - and I got a standard reply from their agent saying the songs were ' not suitable for the band at this stage in their career.' That was 18 years ago and I haven't written anything since. Trust me: don't send your songs to an established band whose members write their own material. To the OP, sorry - it's very unlikely the band listens to or reads things sent to them, and no one here has any information about how to get them things, except for waiting outside of gigs and hoping for the best.
