forevermusic Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Muse are headlining the Bravalla Festival in Sweden. Tickets on sale from December 1st from here: http://www.eventim.se/bravalla Thread is for gig goers. Assuming Muse don't cancel on the Swedes again.
Dee3Dee Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 First Swedish gig in 6 years. Inb4 most standard setlist of the tour (which is hopefully still good).
Hat Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 First Swedish gig in 6 years. Damn, didn't realise it had been that long.
Dee3Dee Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Damn, didn't realise it had been that long. Time flies when you're (not) having fun.
Dee3Dee Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Didn't see them do this (http://i.imgur.com/TA65X8H.jpg) for the other announcements, also no mention of Finland on the banner, just Sweden. Interesting.
FabriPav Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 I get one for Rock in Roma, it's probably location based. Sorry Ari.

Alesi08 Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Funny that both Muse and Robie Williams are headlining the same day.
Dee3Dee Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Funny that both Muse and Robie Williams are headlining the same day. Saw that. Poor planning.
Zolic Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Nope. Two years ago only the last slot played over 1,5 hours if I remember correctly. The last ones can go on for a while though. I think Green Day played for about 3 hours. Pity they were as dull as always.
jacjens Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Muse is placed under Robbie Williams on Friday's bill, so should we assume he is the closing headliner that day? Oh God.
Dee3Dee Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 I don't understand why they think this is a good idea. It's so goddamn stupid. As for being placed under Robbie Williams, they said it's alphabetical somehow, from Z-A I think. I can't imagine either Muse or Robbie Williams would settle for anything less than being the top headliner?
forevermusic Posted December 1, 2014 Author Posted December 1, 2014 Be quite funny if they went from headlining above the heavy rock/metal at Download to subbing Robbie Williams and his big band stuff.
therese Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 This time it will probably be cancelled by Bråvallas bankruptcy or somtehing. Seem to be a trend of that among Swedish music festivals. Not getting my hopes up for this again!
Zolic Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Well Bråvalla is a festival by German mega-corporation FKP Scorpio who basically are the reason other festivals have disappeared so I doubt it.
ToriB Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Is it just me or have prices for a day ticket gone up? It's my first time going to a festival, so I don't know how these prices usually behave, but I could swear it was a good bit less a while back of course there's the exhange rate to euro but still

The original price ("early bird") was increased on NYE because the tickets had already been on sale for like a month at that point.

Shame I didn't book them earlier so.
therese Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 How early do you think you need to get to the stage in order to be somewhat close to the front?
jacjens Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Let's say Faith No More are playing before Muse. Then be there 30 minutes before Faith No More go on stage and I think you will get a good spot for Muse. Anyone know when the schedule is likely to be announced?
therese Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Okay thanks! Let's say all the way to the front then? by the gates? Last year the schedule was released really late. Like in june...
Hat Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Bråvalla don't have bands playing after eachother on the same stage. There are two really big stages next to eachother, and they take turns having a band on stage. It might be Faith No More on stage 1, then Muse on stage 2 (which will be empty during FNM), then Robbie Williams on stage 1. You rarely have to be on the empty stage THAT early to get a good spot. I'd say go during FNM.
therese Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Okay thanks guys! I will wait for the schedule and see... and the weather
