rotter Posted January 29, 2011 Author Posted January 29, 2011 Stockholm and MK Ultra are pretty good to play backwards would it be easiest just to listen to it on youtube? i wanted to do it myself but i also really want to listen to them now
New Born Lee Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Pretty much any music editing program can do this very easily. Try Wavepad or Audacity, they're both free, I'd say the former as I think Audacity has some issue with Mp3s. Then it should just be a matter of opening the files in the program, finding the option to reverse, and then saving it as another file. Probably quicker to look 'em up on Youtube if you just want to listen.
Hat Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Well why you want to do that... Because all the songs have hidden messages, obviously. A thing worth trying is playing Micro Cuts or Yes Please backwards, the riffs will sound very similar, if I remember correctly.
Dee3Dee Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Yeah, Micro Cuts backwards sound a lot like the Yes Please riff. The chorus is also pretty amazing when played backwards.
Sing_For_Absolution Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 I recommend FAWY Knights is pretty good, too.
Enemy Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 The chorus of SS in reverse is really haunting. And TIRO in reverse is genius. The chorus is in a minor key, yet played backwards it becomes major. Hilarious, and incredible. Sounds good, too.
matthijs Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 And TIRO in reverse is genius. The chorus is in a minor key, yet played backwards it becomes major. Hilarious, and incredible. Sounds good, too. You fail at music. The chorus of TIRO is in A minor which has as a parallel key C major. Just because you reverse the song doesn't mean it changes; it means you hear the C before the A minor.

Just because you reverse the song doesn't mean it changes; it means you hear the C before the A minor. You fail at social interaction. I purely thought that C was the relative major to Am. Obviously, I got something wrong. I do apologise, but there is simply no need to be a complete dick about it. Every thread on this board just appears to go to shit now. Jeezus.

Iceman Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 United States of Eurasia backwards is amazing, especially the Arab-ish part.
