  1. There was a pretty decent mix at the Cologne gig. I didn't feel out of place at all, but there were some really young kids there too (who very kindly helped the old dear with creaky knackered knees stand up).

  2. Oh the discussions I've had about farther and further. (I'm an editor, I'm not completely weird.) Where I work we use one for the concept of physical distance and the other for more ermmmmm "woolly" uses. Sorry, not got my books with me that I use to help me clarify my thought processes on this! :chuckle:

I love the Montreux setlist... I'm just pissed off I was going to go but decided to be sensible with my money

  3. I thought they were being mimed, but there were tiny little differences both at Cologne and Glasto, that made me believe they're not. If they're not, I'm impressed with his whistling ability, even though whistling makes my head hurt and I have to skip that bit of the actual song.

Dom was definitely miming though, or else boy has some serious vocal skills kept hidden under wraps

  4. Yeah. Much As I enjoyed the whole 360 thing (to my surprise) I must admit you're right

Same here. I rather liked the 360 stage because I felt I got a fantastic view of the band, but I could hardly see the screen and while the crowd was pretty raucous it wasn't like that!

  5. I assure you it is. Even in my country the expression about yellow belly is used to describe cowardice. The only thing is, it's to be considered a bit old-fashioned (and awarely over-the-top) here.

Let's say it's usually associated with fictional medieval knighthood.

Oh interesting :) It's still pretty current here.

  6. It's a real saying!!!!!!! :twitchy:

Has no one ever seen a western? Looney Tunes?

    Back to the Future 3...?

Yeah I was wondering if I was the only person who realised! Yellow belly = coward. Blue blood = royal. Not sure about the green mind bit but green = envy quite often.

Is this not a thing everywhere (in the English-speaking world at least)?!
