    It was so weird. I watched the festival shows, they sounded alright! Matt's voice didn't sound like it was straining to hit any of the notes, nor did he look like he was getting sick of playing guitar. And then... all this stuff. What happened? I seriously don't get how they sunk so low so soon. I would sell the five tickets we bought for the Washington gig, but I've promised to go to the show with two friends of mine who are getting married (I gave them the tix as a wedding gift). So... yeah. Guess I can only hope that they'll learn to do better.

    I used to love the MWAH intro to KOC. But it's kind of become tired. Also, I'll never get used to Matt not playing guitar.

    Yeah, most people seem to absolutely hate the new setlist. I guess we can only hope that this is just a test setlist and that they'll be getting better as the tour goes on. I am seriously hoping that. I bought five tickets for the Washington, D.C. show and am giving two of them to two friends of mine who are getting married. It would suck for them to get such a wedding gift only for the band to be half-assing it the whole time. Also, Matt, please go back to playing guitar.

    So I've found some info on it. Apparently they've brought back Undisclosed Desires. Wonder if Matt is playing the keytar again. And they debuted Isolated System for this tour. They're also playing Drones as a recording before the show. I guess there's no real way of playing it otherwise. They also debuted Revolt and the Globalist, so now the only song they haven't played from Drones is Aftermath. Wait, what's this I see? Morgan has taken over guitar on both Uprising and Dead Inside? No... Matt, what are you doing? Y'know what, no. I'll believe that last part is true when I see actual video footage of it.

    Now that we're deep into the tour, I can definitely say that it seems confirmed: Matt has brought back the guitar!

    Hi! So my friend has successfully completed a fan multicam of Muse's live debut of "Dead Inside" from Brighton Dome, but when he tried to upload it onto YouTube, they removed it because of the copyrighted audio. According to him, this hasn't happened to him before. Do you have any tips for him--alternate sites to upload it to, ways of getting past YouTube's system, etc.? Here's his specific post. Be warned that it contains lots of profanity. ~Dan

    Many have told me that these gigs confirm nothing, which is true--Matt also hasn't played piano yet, and has recently stopped doing all songs from The 2nd Law, and I'm sure both of those will be prominent on the Drones tour--but at the same time it's always fun to speculate. ~Dan

    As I said in my earlier response, it's all speculation but I'd certainly like to see a full-on return of the guitar.

    Personally, I'd love to see the keytar come back, and maybe to be used more prominently in other songs. I know they don't! It's all just speculation at this point, but I'd certainly love a full-on return of instrument playing for Matt. ~Dan

    Hi, I just saw the clip online of recently, and it seems that Matt has brought back the guitar playing in it! And not just part, but for all of it! Do you think this was just a one-time thing, or do you think the chances are high that he will start playing instruments on other songs again, like guitar on Unintended, Blackout, Follow Me; piano for the intro of New Born; or the keytar in Undisclosed Desires? ~Dan P.S.: Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section. I haven't been here for so long that it's confusing to me.
