First second night syndrome of the Drones era.
The first night got Reapers instead of Revolt I guess, which is something. I still don't understand why they even think that's a good rotation though. Stockholm Syndrome/Resistance is equally ridiculous

Apparently the final co-headline slot at Reading is heavily rumoured to be Biffy Clyro + Fall Out Boy, not really my cup of tea
That would be a really strange choice, as Biffy headlined only 3 years ago and Fall Out Boy were 2 or 3 slots below them when they did. Apparently it's the strongest rumour currently though

OK, maybe the piano riser failed. So then play a different song. Would anybody complain if they had to hear Citizen Erased instead of USoE?
Simply cutting the song knowing most people wouldn't notice anyway is still just laziness.
They'd still need the piano to play Citizen Erased.... but yeah, no reason why they couldn't have played another song to make up for the lack of piano song.

So what about Nothing But Thieves playing in Manchester on 2nd Apr, the same night they're now supporting Muse in Birmingham? I was offered tickets to go to that but had to turn it down cuz I already had my Muse tickets. Bit harsh on their fans if they cancel that show to support Muse dontcha think?
They'll probably reschedule it to another date. That's what Arcane Roots did with their tour dates last year when they were asked to support Fightstar on the same dates.

I don't know why but I never took the "sleep with" line in Dead Star to literally mean sleeping with someone. I think I read at some point that DS was heavily influenced by the political climate around and immediately after 9/11, so I guess I assumed there was some political inference in the lyrics. To me, it sounds like Matt's asking why you would take sides with a government that doesn't seek to protect it's own people (or something like that) but using the analogy of a relationship. Kind of the opposite of Drones (the album), now that I think about it
I might be reading too much into this but that's my interpretation of the line and why I never thought it sounded weird or rapey
Maybe we should rename it "even night syndrome".
