I find both unnatural selection and mk ultra boring and that is the only reason why the resistance is my 5th favourite muse album since I always skip these songs
I can't even bring myself to say "Oh Hannah" to this one...

I find Bliss to be one of Muse's most over-rated songs. Sure, I like it, but I don't get why everyone seems to think it's the best song ever.

SMBH taking over the latest Film 4 advert
And Russell Howard's Good News seconds ago used a teeny snippet from Panic Station!
I think Russell is a fan

Also on the case of Reading 2011 Citizen Erased was really good but there isn't any decent videos of it.
Ahem...

Posting a vid of SS from 2004 and saying it's one of the best performances is a bit redundant IMO

The ending of New Born in a movie called "Steal" which is about a gang of roller-skating bank robbers. I'm serious.

Double post....
Last night I had another awesome, but slightly weird Muse dream. I was at a gig in a really small venue on the 2nd Law Tour. They were playing Liquid State, which sounded awesome live, then immediately after it finished Chris started playing the Futurism bassline. Everyone thought it was Hysteria, until Matt started playing the riff. I was so excited, but everyone around me looked really puzzled because none of them knew the song. I tried to explain to them, but no one spoke English so I ended up the only one who knew the song But after Futurism they played Sunburn and of course everyone knew that one. It was a cool new arrangement with Chris on piano, Matt on guitar and Morgan on bass. I don't remember anything other than those three songs though

I had a dream last night that my dad had managed to get tickets to the roundhouse gig

I heard Supermassive Black Hole in the Games Workshop the other day while painting some models. They had a playlist on repeat so I heard it a couple of times. Unfortunately there was also a load of other shit such as LMFAO on there, so my respect for Games Workshop has decreased slightly

Argh. I've been having terrible dreams (well, nightmares really) in which Muse have been appearing in various TV shows such as Jools Holland, Saturday Night Live promoting the new album. They keep saying things like "This is a new song, it's called Panic Station" or whatever, but whenever they start playing, it's just Neutron Star Collision
I just hope it's not a warning of things to come...

I had another Muse dream last night... I dreamed that I had got tickets to the iTunes festival and I was seeing Muse live for the first time ever! I don't remember much about it except that they opened with NSC and everyone started laughing including Matt. I guess they played it as a joke because there's no way they would ever open a gig with NSC (Or would they..? )
I think they also played at least Survival, Madness and MK Ultra, as well as some old b-side that I didn't recognise I'm pretty sure the actual setlist will not be as random as this one

I heard a band cover Time Is Running Out once, does that count?
It was shit.

Survival at half time of the football!
Hahaha I was just about to post that. My dad paused it so we are watching it about 1/2 hour behind everyone else

Hweh, you yelled at him for Muscle Museum.
Or it might have been Showbiz. I can't really remember now

Last night I had my first pwoper Muse dream! It was surprisingly long and detailed so prepare for a long and rambling post:
For some reason I was at my grandparents house with one of my friends (who also likes Muse) and I suddenly remembered that I had a Muse concert that night that I had to get to! I started panicking about how I was going to get there in time but then I realised that the concert was actually taking place at my grandparents house There were only a couple of people queueing up to go into the concert, which was apparently taking place in the dining room so I figured I had time to go and get ready. I couldn't find my ticket so I spent ages looking for it. Eventually I decided to try and get into the concert anyway but for some reason John Barrowman was there and he shut the door in my face
Somehow I was able to get into the concert though, and when I did it turned out that my grandparents' dining room had been transformed into the size of a football stadium and there were thousands of people there! The stage was huge and OTT (well it IS Muse ). For some reason me and my friend were allowed to go straight to the front even though we had no tickets
Now for the concert itself Where to begin?
It was completely insane. The first song was like some sort of weird opera, with a huge choir behind the band singing incoherent chants. The band members rose up one by one on these pedestals that came up from below the stage First was Chris, who was dressed like some Herculean Greek hero. He kept repeating "Supremacy! Supremacy! Supremacy!" while the choir chanted. Then came Dom, dressed as a glam rocker () and this brought a huge cheer from the fangirls. Then Morgan rose up wearing a sparkly suit and a mask that covered his face. He was carrying a guitar and everyone thought he was Matt so everyone started chanting Matt's name! Finally, Bellamy himself appeared... he was wearing some kind of 18th century period outfit complete with huge curly wig! Everyone gave the biggest cheer yet, and the show continued with a couple of new songs (which I don't remember ). There were also foam cannons that continuously sprayed everyone with foam! Oh, and Rowan Atkinson came on stage in character as Blackadder
After a couple of songs, a fight started in the audience and Matt ordered that the show come to a halt. There was a sort of intermission where security came and dealt with the troublemakers, and during this time Matt came down and started talking to people in the audience! Because me and my friend were very close to the front, I was able to shout to him "Hey Matt, any chance of a sneaky photo before you go back on stage?" My friend was absolutely stunned, but he agreed to hold the camera while I put my arm around Matt. He was ridiculously small, only coming up to about half my height I remember saying to him: "All the pictures of you I've seen on the message board must have been photoshopped!" He asked me what my favourite album was and me and my friend both said Absolution. Then he said that was his favourite album too! I asked him if they were going to play any old songs and he told me the concert would only be songs from The 2nd Law I got mad and started yelling at him to play Muscle Museum but he started getting further away into the crowd and then I woke up
I put it in spoilers because it was so long lol

Invincible being played on the radio right now! Don't know what station it is though...
-
I heard Butterflies & Hurricanes in the Games Workshop today... that place always plays awesome music but it's the first time I've heard Muse in there
-
Don't forget it's also the 10th anniversary of Hullabaloo's release so perhaps there's a chance they might bring back something from that? Allright, there's no chance of that happening but how cool would that be?

I've been having weird dreams lately about the new album
The other night I dreamed that the first single was released, and it was an instrumental that was only about a minute long! It sounded a bit like the first part of the album trailer, but with more riffs and an epic bass line. The name started with an S, but it wasn't Supremacy. The music video featured Matt driving around a hovercraft on top of a lake, I shit you not.
And then last night I dreamed that the whole album was leaked online. None of the music from the trailer was featured in the album, and it was more like Radiohead's TKOL than anything. Literally every Muser hated it

I can hear Resistance being played on the radio downstairs right now
-
I heard the HAARP version of Knights of Cydonia in a game shop. I immediately recognised the Close Encounters intro but my friends dragged me out of the shop before the actual song began
-
I've heard Supermassive Black Hole and Sing for Absolution on this hard rock radio station that my Step-Dad listens to.
-
I was actually dicking around on my keyboard the other day trying to come up with some cool melodies, and I started playing a melody that I found extremely familiar but I couldn't put my finger on what it was... It took me a while to realise that it was Ruled By Secrecy

Muse dreams..

I had a dream that I was watching Muse soundcheck for the Radio 2 concert they're doing on Wednesday... I only saw Matt and he was playing the riff from TOADA. Then he started singing part of Exit Music (For a Film) and then he said they were going to cover it on the show!
