  1. :awesome: I hope they keep the title!

Yeah now it's all melted XD

Psych is awesome; I'd highly recommend it! It's kind of like Sherlock but a much more comedic and quirky twist... and I like it more, actually. The seasons are a pretty fast watch too, usually only 16 episodes. One of the actors is actually going to be in a Supernatural episode soon, as

the demon Cain, in episode 11 "First Born".

    I didn't even know X-Files had a movie :$

Merry Christmas to you too! :xmas:

  2. Yeah! They've lasted longer than anyone on Supernatural - longer than the Winchesters too! :chuckle:

Snow's melting already. Hopefully it comes back in time for Christmas!

Dry, huh? It's been really dry here too, actually, aside for the one day of snow. Hopefully that changes for you!

Nice, that sounds like a cool idea :awesome:. I've kinda been marathoning Psych, trying to catch up soon. But then I've also got X-Files and Breaking Bad to catch up on too...

  3.

He will be coming back anyways XD. Same with the Ghostfacers. But if I recall correctly there is another person who will be coming back.

Thanks! You too! Ahh I see.

First day of proper snow today! :awesome:

  4. Wow those do sound pretty big! Glad to hear you think they are positive. Yeah the Lions didn't make it to the final, but they played the eventual winners on the way and actually gave them a lot more competition than the Eastern division finalists. I think this year was the third year in a row the cup was won by the home team! Next year the Grey Cup is back in BC so who knows, that trend could continue :awesome:

Nice, good luck on that one! I've got just one more exam too, Math, on Tuesday. WE'RE SO CLOSE!

Oh my gosh, that's crazy! That's never happened to me that I can remember. Glad to hear about the exam changeup

Good! Sounds like you've got a lot to look forward to

I've heard a bit about that, yeah. You're correct, Stephen Harper is our Prime Minister.

 DO IT. DO IT DO IT DO IT. :awesome:

Ahh I've watched a few episodes of Parks and Rec!

I'm almost into season 5 of Psych! And the guy who plays Lassie is in an upcoming Supernatural episode :awesome:

  5. Agreed. Apparently someone unexpected will be returning later this season so who knows...

Yeah me too, I'm just going to do a lot of relaxing and going to family dinners . Ahh I never played that game!

  6.

Lucifer back! That would be interesting. I'd love for Gabriel to come back somehow.

    :awesome: Thanks!

Just finished putting my Christmas tree up. :xmas: Any plans for the holidays this year?

  7. It was definitely one of their better ones.

Really going to miss Kevin :(. Now that he's gone a new prophet should appear - I wonder if Chuck will be back? (*Wishful thinking*)

Glad Cas got his angel mojo back although I think the way he got it back isn't how angel grace works... ahh well.

I wasn't too surprised that it wasn't Ezekiel but it was still interesting how it carried out. Damn you Gadreel :fear:

Next episodes look good! I think there will be a lot more mytharc/Cas episodes coming up.

Thanks :p. Going to play my first game tomorrow :chuckle:

    Most likely . Hmm..

  8. They're definitely my least favourite writers.

I've heard good reviews on it! I haven't done any wi-fi battles yet since I don't have a proper complete team. When I'm done mine I'll start by playing against my friend to test it out first :chuckle:. Nice, that's a great selection of games! Yeah Meowth has sentimental value but not so much playable value.

By the way, nice new Christmas icon :awesome:. I've gotta think of a new one too.

  9.

I really liked the bunker scenes too. Yeah Nora seemed pretty scripted and unrealistic overall.

I'm really torn on episode 9. Especially since it's the midseason finale I'm excited for it and going by the promo it looks awesome, but it's also written by the least favourite writers by far...

 Yeah I'll be buying more games for sure - thinking about something like Zelda? - but I better not yet, until my finals are over. Yeah I really only know the first 2, at most 3 generations. Those pokemon were pretty prominent in this game though, which was good. To play through the game I had Charizard, Lucario, Greninja, Florges, Magnezone, and Garchomp. I picked the water starter too! I usually pick water, sometimes fire. Right now during my study breaks I'm training new pokemon for a more competitive team. Thinking of having Gengar and Scizor. What pokemon games did you play?

Thanks! Yeah, our thanksgiving is about mid-October.

  10. Ahh okay!

Episode 8 wasn't so good. But yes I thought 6 and 7 were very solid.

Yeah! Also, I went out and bought a 3DS to play Pokemon Y.... Worst decision to make during school . I beat the game in 3 days, over about a day's worth of gameplaying...

    Also, Happy Thanksgiving!

  11. :p

Naw our service provider just sent us one for free.

6th and 7th episodes were great too!

Yeah I really want to know what the dog said.

For the 6th episode: I think Cas was written a LOT better than in 9x03.

It was really nice seeing Dean so happy; I hope Cas gets back to the bunker soon. Kevin and Sam had good scenes too.

Interesting to think why Crowley was injecting himself at the end with Kevin's blood. I wonder why? I think either (a) he wants/craves to feel more human, or (b) he's trying to become human enough to escape the traps somehow.

It was pretty unbelievable that the mom would have just set Cas up like that though; I can't really imagine a mother leaving her baby in the care of someone who they would've known for just a few weeks just because they were a hard worker.

The 7th episode was good too. It felt like old Supernatural with the creepy MOTW storyline and the pacing was good. I think the guy who played young Dean was great. He didn't look as much like Dean as I imagined to be at 16 but I didn't really care since he acted it out so well. He got all of Dean's mannerisms down perfectly!

The last scene was pretty heartbreaking. Also John Winchester is horrible.

Still haven't seen the movie! Ahh I see what you're saying. That's similar to what I've heard about it too.

That's good! Agh still been so busy with school I haven't gone out for a movie in a while. Hopefully when Finals are over.

  12. Got one free of charge :awesome:

Yeah, agreed. Haha yeah I rewatched it a couple weeks ago and I agree. Didn't really help that I watched it with my dad and he's always vocal while watching a movie if he thinks something is stupid or flawed :chuckle:

:shifty:. The fifth episode was great!

Tons of great comedic moments. Jensen has excellent comedic timing, and Jared played a great straight-man too! I think my favourite scene was when Dean kept fetching the waste paper from the trash :chuckle:. And when he pulled the gun on the Pigeon

Didn't really like the dog voices though. And I hope Sam finds out about Ezekiel soon because the constant dying/being brought back is getting tiring.

Haha XD. Ahh that's too bad. Haven't watched Hellraiser yet! I've heard great things about Ender's Game too, and I enjoyed the books. It's been years since I've read it though. Like a decade! I see, I see; well I hope you enjoy Thor 2! Apparently it's better than the first.

  13. Aww no! Yeah I can imagine, they really got close. I'm glad things are looking good for next year at least.

Lions are doing decently; sometimes they look amazing in game and sometimes they just stink. You're right; the Grey Cup is soon! We're in the Western Semi-Final this weekend and we'll have family over to watch with us. Really excited for the game!

Glad to hear!. Good luck on your exams! I've got two more midterms left and then finals starting in a month.

Ahh yeah that's right, you've got Thanksgiving soon. Sometimes I'm watching an American channel and I see an advertisement for turkey/Thanksgiving dinner and I get confused because ours already happened :chuckle:. This term has gone so fast!

    Ahh sorry to hear that...

I'm not too much of a fan of our Prime Minister.

It's from the show Supernatural :awesome:. The car is Dean Winchester's Impala (his Baby ;D) and the pentagram is a devil's trap for trapping demons. Thanksgiving was really nice! I always love the food and company.

Never heard of her but it sounds like I should look her up then!

  14. Been without internet the past few days since the modem/router died :noey:.

Yeah, I'd say they make a good duo! Benedict is in so many movies. I take it he's very popular right now. He was a great Khan.

Hmm fourth episode was decent but not great. Haven't watched the fifth episode yet, but I say most of it filming so I pretty know what'll happen.

    What can I say? :shifty::p

So three people recognized me :chuckle:. Whoa Insidious 2 is like comedy? Was not expecting that! I'd like to see it though. I'm pretty ashamed of myself; I didn't watch a single horror movie this Hallowe'en! Thinking of seeing the Carrie remake.

  15. Thanks XD

Glad to hear! That would've been awesome. I've never been San Francisco although I'd love to go someday.

    :p

Actually not so far. I think I spend so much time fangirling over Supernatural that I'm all spent :chuckle:. I'm enjoying Sherlock although I prefer more story-driven shows, as opposed to ones that are case-by-case like Sherlock is. It does have more comedy and quirkiness than I was expecting, that I like.

Have to say I HATED the last episode (9x03) :noey:. But I loved the first two! The next one looks pretty crazy and off-the-wall but also fitting for Hallowe'en, and written by Robbie so I'm looking forward to it. I'm glad Kevin is back, and I agree Jared is doing really well portraying Ezekiel. Last episode especially I loved the transitions.

I kinda cheered when Hael died :shifty:

    Thanks!

Nice! I'll probably wear my Cas costume again to school. I just found out that one of the teaching assistants I work with is a big Supernatural fan so at least one person will know who I am!

Got any horror movies planned for watching this week?

  16. Ahh the playoffs! I see that they're 3-2 in the best-of-seven against LA? How do you think they are playing?

I've had three so far; two today. They're going okay, I think. I hope :chuckle:. I think my studying is paying off though; I feel a lot more confident in some courses than I was a few days ago. This year is a lot harder than last year. How did yours go?

Awesome that they're spread out :awesome:

Yeah I heard about that. I was wondering how that would affect Canada. I'm glad they've finally reached a deal today.

I carved a pumpkin this weekend :chuckle:. It's kind of a tradition for all the "kids" of the family to carve one when family comes over for Thanksgiving dinner! (I think I get the most into it :chuckle:)

  17. Oh wow I've been gone a while... sorry! How are you?

Yeah there's always next year. :yesey:

I've heard! I keep procrastinating about starting! I've started Sherlock and I'll probably do Breaking Bad afterwards.

Really happy with Supernatural so far.

Disappointed with the brothers-keeping-secrets story though, because we all know how that ends. I wish we could have a season, like in 1 and 2, where it was really them against the world and not against each other. No more secrets!

Otherwise, this season looks really good! I like the direction they're going; apparently it'll be more mythology-focused with less one-off episodes. Not that I have anything against them - some are classics! - but I do love lots of storyline and too many one-offs like in last season kinda halt momentum.

I hope Cas spends most of the season with the boys.

I carved a pumpkin this weekend :chuckle:. Already in the spirit of my favourite time of the year... :awesome:

  18. Ahh okay! I see. I find it interesting! And kinda funny!

    GO CARDINALS! :awesome:

    Good!

Yeah for me too, it's really hard this year XD. I've already got my first midterm on Monday!

:awesome: NICE! I LOVE the guitar in that one  lucky you!

There was a poster sale at my university last week. Now I have 6 Muse posters :chuckle:

Hmm that's interesting to hear your view on it. I should really read up more on the subject!

  19. It's was nice! We went out for dinner with lots of family. It's kind of a tradition to go to the Old Spaghetti Factory.

 Yeah . As I said, he was very hyper!

Good to hear it's going well! Oh, interesting! That's a big switch. When will have to decide by?

    Did you end up going?

Sunday on the North Stage looks pretty good!

  20. Did Kansas City used to belong to Kansas or something? I wonder why it's called that since it's not in Kansas. Wow it's really close!

Nice! That sounds awesome! And awesome for your resume too :awesome:. I'm happy you've got that opportunity!

First week has been so busy XD. I don't remember it being this busy last year. Ahh well; I'm sure it'll settle down in a bit. I think every class kinda wants a piece of you in the first week since that's when everything is starting.

Oh wow, it's come up so fast! Have you seen either of those songs in concert already? Ohh yeah, the later the concert that higher the chance is that they'll have new stuff! That'd be awesome! :awesome:

That's a really good question. I don't really think there's a right answer; it's a really messy situation. I would pick not attacking, personally. I don't know enough about it though, unfortunately, to have an idea of what to do instead. I don't know XD. What do you think?

  21. THANK YOU! :awesome::chuckle::happy:

Ahh... the panel. THE PANEL. I don't really know how to say. :chuckle: What about a video? As an example...

Ahh back at college! How's it going! Are you still doing criminal justice? Which rock festival is it? Yeah, I think it'd be worth it to get the PS3! :yesey:

    :chuckle: Those are always fun.

  22.

Aww I'm sure you'd be fine! But either way I'm sure they're used to quiet, creepy staring from fans. :chuckle:

Sebastian's panel was soooo inappropriate . In the schedule itself it said "suggested for adults only" and I didn't think it'd be that bad, but I was wrong. HAHA. But he was hilarious. And very hyper.

Random side note but I just noticed that Rick Worthy (the Alpha Vamp) tweeted a picture of me with my centrepiece :awesome: haha..

I wish there were pictures too! I should've gotten one while I was waiting to go on stage.

Baaah enough about me, how have you been?

  23. Don't judge me  ... the gold pass was... $650. With that you get first crack at autographs with the 10 people I mentioned, access to all 3 days of the convention, reserved seating near front of the room, the karaoke party on the first night (with several cast members), cocktail party on the second night (and mini-meet-and-greets with many of the cast members), and continental breakfast/mini-panel with Jared and Jensen on the third day.

Emily was very sweet! I told her I loved her in Ginger Snaps. She thanked me and wrote "To Michelle: Fangirls kick ass! ~Emily Perkins" for her autograph :awesome:. It was very expensive as you can see but I think it was really worth it.

Yeah, Ed and Harry would have been a great duo costume for the costume contest. Their actors will be at another convention later this year. I think the Teddy Bear was my favourite - it was a whole-body suit with the fluff coming out the back :chuckle: perfect! I thought there'd be more guys too.

  24. Well it depends on the type of ticket. I decided on going all out this year and went for the most expensive option, the Gold pass, but it was actually completely worth it. Rob Benedict, Emily Perkins, Chad Lindberg, Alex Zahara, DJ Qualls, Matt Cohen, Richard Speight Jr., James Patrick Stuart, Mark Sheppard, Mark Pellegrino, Sebastian Roche, Felicia Day, Rachel Miner, and Ty Olsson were all there too. As included with my ticket, I got autographs with everyone except for Alex, DJ, Felicia, Rachel, Ty, and the two Marks - so 10 autographs overall. Russ Hamilton, Jim Michaels, Rob Singer, Robbie Thompson, Kevin Parks, and Jerry Wanek were all there as well. I talked to Robbie for a bit and told him how much I loved Goodbye Stranger (and his other episodes too) and he was SO modest and nice!

No there weren't! There were quite a few Deans (no Sams though), human!Impalas, and Abaddons - other than that, there were pretty much one of tons of different characters. The finalists were a Teddy Bear/Audrey duo from Wishful Thinking (first place), Kevin Tran (second), Death (third), Charlie from LARP and the Real Girl, and the King and Queen of Hell (a Crowley and Abaddon duo). They were great costumes! Finalists were picked based on audience applause.

Well there weren't that many guys at the convention period - I'd say 1 in 20 people was a guy :chuckle:. I'm not exaggerating. It's weird though because the demographic of the show is about 50/50, I think, but it's mainly women who are willing to spend the money and go to a convention...

Thanks :chuckle:. If I do it next year I'm going to try and do something more unique. Maybe Dean's handmaiden costume in LARP and the Real Girl.

  25. XD I guess it helps living in Vancouver, because people on the internet talk about it more in terms of the city.

VanCon was awesome! If I can afford it I'm going to do the same ticket again next year... it's really expensive but so worth it. Jared, Jensen, and Misha were lovely guys and I'm glad I got a chance to thank them for everything they do. They were so nice and personable while I got their autographs, as with all the other actors that I got autographs from (included with my ticket).

At one point Misha came on stage to judge the Cas cosplay contest (there were so many Cas' in the costume contest that they had to make a separate one just for us). I only entered because all participants won something (turned out to be a photo of Cas). You can see all the Cas' in this video, myself included  (I'm right behind Misha at 1:58 and on the farthest to the left 2:40-3:07). There were really two clear winners, though unfortunately the girl with the big wings was a jerk and hella mad that the perfect Cas guy was stealing her spotlight and being more popular... not that the audience could tell though.
