  1. Thank you so much for the Happy Birthday! I'm so sorry I have been absent so long!!! :$ How have you been doing?

Ahh yes, Godzilla :p that was a great review, too.

I did like Breaking Bad a lot! The last few episodes especially were really good. I knew he was going to die in the finale since the first episode but it was really well done. I had heard of the spinoff, though I hadn't seen a trailer for it yet :chuckle:

Arrested Development is pretty great . It's really clever humour. I'd like to say it's smart humour about stupid people XD. I watched some of season 1 of Mad Men but got preoccupied with other stuff - I'll start it again later. I haven't heard of Fargo - is it still good/still playing? Glad you were enjoying it!

Yeah I heard that Arrow was absolutely horrible in season 1 but came out of nowhere in season 2. Also haven't heard of the Americans or Strain. I should really start Arrow though.

For current shows on, right now I'm keeping track on Supernatural, Modern Family, American Horror Story, and Flash. Flash was actually not bad, really cheesy at times (but that is to be expected) but entertaining. Although the physicist in me get's pretty annoyed when they fudge physics a lot, heheh. I can understand accepting the Speed Force, it's fiction and all that, that's fine. But when the particle accelerator expert puts on a serious face and says "antimatter and dark energy was popping up all over the place"... I just think... you really don't know what you're talking about :chuckle:. But anyways.

Random shows I'm watching are Futurama, almost done that, and still Arrested Development. Also just finished Death Note which is probably my favourite animated shows of all time, maybe one of my favourite shows ever too. If you want to watch something really clever and dark, try it out. :yesey:

Anyways, again, how have you been! It's been awhile!

  2. Don't worry about it! Sounds like you had a good school year, glad to hear

Thanks, and I'll let you know! :chuckle: For some reason I've also started collecting quarters with the states on them until I get them all. Thanks! Still... haven't gotten around to driving  but I have played a bit of bass and also some drums! I'm sure your internship will go really well, that's awesome you have that :awesome:

Ahh well hopefully they can figure things out soon. The CFL season hasn't started but Geroy Simon retired a few days ago! I'm sure that even though he didn't finish with the Lions, his number will still get retired.

    Sounds great! :awesome:

Yeah apparently I think they had 4 seasons and then got canceled on their network. But then a different thing funded them and they made 3 movies, which are considered the 5th season, and then they finished the series off with a few more seasons. Something like that. Since then I've watched Breaking Bad and now I'm starting on some new shows.

  3. Nice! What have you gotten up to so far? I hope summer is going well!

I thought Godzilla was entertaining but not a good movie. But I mean, you don't really see the movie to see good acting and storyline; it's to see badass monsters fight on screen :p. I did really like the look of Godzilla in the movie. Yeah Ken Watanabe was kinda wasted, only had one expression the whole movie. Bryan Cranston could have been used more too I think. There was too much emphasis on his son in the movie and he wasn't an interesting character.

Since I finished Breaking Bad I've moved on to... way too many shows at once! Mad Men, Simpsons, Misfits, Arrested Development, Derek, and some more I've forgotten. Oh and this one

  4. I wish they hadn't parted either :(

I did pass all my classes! How did your exams go? I'm glad you're over with them and have them out of the way. Are you on summer break now then?

That's a cool nickname to have! I'm pretty tired of my current name but I'm too lazy to change it :p.

Seeing Godzilla tomorrow. Pretty psyched about it :awesome:

  5. You must be done or close to being done now! :awesome: I just finished my last exam on Thursday so now I'm free for the summertime. I'm going to be working at the bakery I was at last summer for the third time in a row; also probably going to learn how to drive (I know I'm really late in doing so...) and I might start learning the bass guitar. Not sure yet but those are some rough plans. I'm really looking forward to this summer. What about you?

How are they doing now? And how did the game you went to go? Hope it was fun!

I didn't know that you will be in Belgium! That's awesome! :awesome: WOW!

No problem with that! I've never watched it before. I think George Takei is a voice at some point in that show though, that'd be funny to hear him :chuckle:. Right now I'm watching Futurama for the first time. Really enjoying that too; it's quite clever. I'm past season 4 now and into the movies.

  6. I really liked Freddy! :(

:chuckle: Yeah I remember watching it a few times when I was little but not more than that. Certainly can't think of it the same ever again though!

How have your exams gone, if you're taking them/took them? I'm finally done all of my exams so I'm free! They went okay. Some definitely harder than others but other people had trouble as well, so I don't feel that worried about them and they might get scaled.

    LUIGI :awesome:

  7. Oh wow you do have a lot of school left! School has been crazy for me, which is why I've been so slow at responding, sorry! I've got 4 finals between the 12th and 17th of April and actual classes only just finished... most people have finals all the way to the end of April. This term went okay I guess, a lot harder than last term though. I enjoyed most of my classes overall although my "grade-booster" first year psych class turned out to be the opposite of that :chuckle:. Well good luck on your finals and any midterms you may have left!

How's the season going now? You must be excited! I didn't know your college made March Madness, that must've been awesome! Good for you guys.

Wow, you guys have surprisingly gotten so much more snow than we have. We had maybe two weekends of snow, spaced weeks/months apart... and it melted pretty quickly! Glad to hear spring break was nice

House of Cards was awesome! I know Frank is horrible but he's the guy I'm cheering for :chuckle:. I felt really sorry for Peter.

    :awesome:

  8.

I wasn't too surprised by Zoe's death, well I mean I thought that she was getting too unruly and unpredictable and that he would have to do something about. I still cheered for Frank when it happened :shifty:

Yeah, really surprising! Also that Ty Olsson is the blue dragon from Dragon Tales - never going to get over that one :chuckle:

How have you been? School has been crazy for me so I haven't been online in a while!

  9. :p

That's a really good theory too, I was actually thinking about that too. Like he would rather go out on his own terms than see himself completely fall.

Frank is my favourite. I mean how can you not love Kevin Spacey! So many great characters though. Interesting that you say Remy because I find him so frustrating and annoying .

I only found out yesterday that Claire is played by the same person as in the Princess Bride! It just... does not make sense... I would never have guessed!

  10. Damn school, I've been so busy, sorry it's been a while!

    Pffft I'm not worried :p

It was REALLY good and I can't wait til next season! Kevin Spacey is an amazing actor. And you're totally right about him being horrible but... you want him to succeed and win...

I'm wondering how the last season will end. I haven't read up on the BBC version so as not to spoil myself in case they follow a similar route. My guess is that

he'll get murdered in the last episode (by who?!) and will do one last monologue over that, American Beauty style haha. But really, now that he's president what more will he want...

  11. I know what you mean! Things are so busy right now for me too. But school is probably ending pretty soon for you, right? Good luck on all your exams and papers!

Baseball is always something to look forward to! Ahaha I see what you mean, you're right. I remember when the Lions played the Western Final and all the sports analysts were picking them to win... and you can probably guess who one in the end.

Sounds like you do deserve the break! Any plans so far? We've only had two weekends of snow in months, and it never stuck around for long. It's crazy how much snow you guys have been getting from what I've heard.

I just started watching House of Cards on Saturday... and I'm into season 2 now :chuckle:. It's VERY good and Kevin Spacey is amazing. Frank does so many horrible things but I keep wanting him to succeed... D:

I was able to find them! And they were very surprised. I've gone back several times since then, especially a few times over reading break since I had such a lighter schedule. They're probably sick of seeing me :chuckle: BUT I would say I'm a respectful fan and they do recognize that.

  12. So... US didn't get a medal in men's hockey :p

I started watching House of Cards on Saturday. Already into season 2... It's really good!

  13. It definitely looks like it's appeal to a younger crowd.

Well now that you mention it . We also beat you guys for the Gold in Women's hockey :p.

Did you see that billboard with the "Loser Keeps Bieber" message? :chuckle:

  14. :p

    Yeah they are. Exactly!

I'm not too keen on the spinoff so far, judging by the character bios. It looks like the demographic they are targeting is completely different than the Supernatural fanbase (although that could be what they want to do). I mean the characters are rich young adults mixed up in big-city monster family drama and forbidden love - whereas Supernatural is about two dirt-poor hunters traveling from little town to little town - and we're expected to believe that Sam and Dean, who will let the protagonist know about all these monster families later this season... are letting them all live peacefully in Chicago? It might as well be a completely different show and universe!

  15. Thanks!

Haha, yeah I know shows/movies like that; I'm not judging you. :chuckle: Those kind of shows are really interesting.

If the ratings don't tank next season there will for sure be another season. I honestly think as long as Jensen and Jared want to do it, and the ratings hold, there will be a Supernatural season - the CW network owner is too much of a fan of Supernatural!

  16. Evidently

Yeah! Next week's reading break so hopefully I can get back to the set then and find out.

Nice! A friend has been mentioning House of Cards a lot and I've seen ads, looks good.

SUPERNATURAL RENEWED FOR SEASON 10 :awesome::dance:

  17. Yes I've heard . I've read the plot summary on wikipedia and was just... :wtf::facepalm:

I got a locations breakdown for 9x12, which I think is what he uses to plan where to film (it's basically a rough version of the script), and a decal to put on a car window that cast and crew get. Although he said he had more for me because that "wasn't enough"!

Well it could be Josie, right? Not Abaddon? Since if it is a flashback scene - which would make sense considering the old classic car and the fact that John Winchester is there - well, Josie wasn't possessed until later, right before Henry came to the present. I think.

Oh TCAG as in DNA sequencing! :awesome:

  18. The ending was the only part that gave me a bit of a jump but I still loved it! Didn't find it overall scary, and not at all scary the second time around.

He's the location manger for the show (has been since season 1!). Well I did a WHOLE lot more research (so much and in so many various ways that I cannot go over all of them in a reasonable amount of time) that I was able to narrow it down to 4 places. And guess what I found on my guess? THE CREW PARK. I actually found them today and Russ was so surprised he said he honestly thought I wouldn't find them because they were so out of the way (they were... really out of the way.) and because I had school (though I got off at 11). So he brought a couple stuff but said he would bring more!

It's okay; it took me a while to recognize AJ at the set itself! I realized it was him when he was actually in the scene!

Here are the spoilers from the filming I saw today:

HENRY WINCHESTER will be in the episode.

But - keep in mind, I don't think that means that he will be in the present-day, because the set today looked like it's from the past. There was a nice classic car with an Illinois license plate outside the building. So - flashback? Side note, he was wearing pretty much all black.

The building itself was made to look like a very old, rundown convent called St. Bonaventure. However I'm not sure what the inside looked like of course, i.e. it might be made to look new on the inside. So maybe they shot Henry's scenes inside the convent and had it look new, and Sam and Dean visit it in present day and it looks rundown then - if that makes sense!

Another guest star in the episode?

ABADDON! Or Josie, the woman before the demon possessed her (more likely).

And not present-day - she had her hair all done up as in the episode she was introduced - and if I am correct, she was wearing a nun's outfit. It's very hard to say though because Alaina had a lot of layers on to keep warm so I can't really tell what she was wearing exactly. If I remember correctly it was black, though.

There were also quite a few nuns walking around as... extras? Guest stars? Not sure. Either way, there is definitely something going on in that covent.

  19. True :p

They do! Well... they actually get scared really easily. I tried getting them to watch Blair Witch and one of them had to leave halfway through.

WELL not sure if you saw Russ Hamilton's tweet about the crew taking Misha out for lunch during the tech scouting, but I figured out today which restaurant it is... from the writing on the chopsticks... :shifty:http://supermishamiga.tumblr.com/image/75082266613 So that might be a good spot to start considering it would make sense they go for lunch near the location of the tech scouting. It's only 50 minutes by bus away...

Travis is to the right of Jensen and AJ is in front of Jared!

  20. Same with me, actually! I would've dropped 2 courses (!!) but that would've put me just under the 30 credit limit allowed by my degree. Still, dropping one course made a huge difference thank goodness! I hope things have settled down a bit for you!

Well judging by their record it sounds like they've been getting better? I would be optimistic too! I remember the Hamilton Tiger Cats for several years kept placing last... going 3-15 and similar records... and they gradually got better and made it all the way to the Grey Cup last year! They didn't win but still, I'm sure the Rams will gradually get better!

I just want this term to be over already :chuckle: I miss breaks too much. It's weird because weekends are my days to catch up on sleep so I sleep in... a lot... :chuckle:. Whoa nice, 4 day weekend! :awesome: We haven't had snow since November I think.

I've heard it's so good! I'd love to watch it eventually. The rest of family is watching it and I'm all left out! I'm almost caught up on Psych though - nearly done season 6!

AHHH on Friday I found Supernatural filming again and the actors came and took a picture with us fans! And I shook their hands and told them so many thank-you's and they thanked us back and were so lovely! And then the guy in charge of locations, who recognizes me since I go to set so often said that if I can find them on Tuesday, I will get something that only the cast and crew of Supernatural have . I really really want to find them... but the chances are so slim... it's so hard!

The picture is here: http://sunshine-chinaline.tumblr.com/image/75229511021. I'm in the scarf and converse shoes standing next to the girl with the green jacket :chuckle:

  21. Maaan stupid school I'm only 2 episodes in . It's good so far. I can see why it's such a cult classic already!

:p Which part made them jump? Everything, right from the beginning . We did crash the day after...

I was taking 6 courses + a 3-hour lab every week, so some would consider that 7 courses. Got rid the course + lab so now it's just 5! It's definitely a lot nicer.

Good to hear! Glad that you're enjoying school. What's the science building like?

I found Supernatural filming the next episode with

    the Ghostfacers

on Friday and tons of stuff happened. Jensen, Jared, and the people I mentioned above all took a group photo with us! That never happens. And I got to shake their hands and they were very genuine and nice . Also, since I go to so many sets Russ recognized me yet again and gave me a challenge - if I find them on Tuesday he will give me something only Supernatural cast and crew have . Chances of me actually finding them are like 10% but I'm definitely going to try. Can't imagine what he might give me if I can find them! Also, I was at a park downtown and saw Misha's kids there. What the heck. (I swear I'm not a stalker!)

    :shifty:

Anyways, someone posted the picture: http://sunshine-chinaline.tumblr.com/image/75229511021. I've got the converse shoes and scarf, standing next to the girl in the green jacket :chuckle:

  22. I'm very late in saying so but thank you!!!

School's been so busy for me. How about for you? I've actually decided to drop a course for the first time. It's going to mean I do my degree in 5 years instead of 4 now. Oh well, I'd rather get better grades and understand what I'm learning than make a race out of it and just be able to say I did it in 4...

It sounds like a better season that last year, though, for the Rams! And it's good that they showed they could win against good teams, that's promising. Yeah it's weird, that's happened before, about being able to win against good teams and losing against weaker ones. Hope the quarterback is better now.

I started school in the first week of January. Winter break was really low-key and I really miss it :chuckle:. Lots of nice dinners, sleeping in, playing games with friends.... it was nice! How was yours?

X-Files! That's on my list to watch since Supernatural makes so many references to it, and it's such a cult classic! Doctor Who... I've seen a few bits of episodes but never really got into it. But man is it popular. I hope you like it!

  23. I haven't actually started watching it! Still catching up on other shows. Also started Xena: Warrior Princess :chuckle:. I feel like Breaking Bad will be the kind of show that I'll get really involved in so I'll save it for when I've got more free time.

Good to hear! :chuckle: Actually I didn't get scared by it. My friends did though. I beat the game in a couple weeks or so already. Ahaha we played video games until 6AM. Getting old? :p

Man I've been so busy with school; it really hit me like a freight train. I've decided on dropping a course because it's too much! How've you been?

  24. :awesome:

Have you ever watched it? Haha :p that would be very interesting! They ARE both filmed in Vancouver, sooo... :awesome:

I'm not surprised, it seems like it could be pretty creepy! I always forget how long ago it was on. Well I got season 1 of Breaking Bad for Christmas so that seems to be what I'll start soon.

It was really nice! There have been a lot of dinners with friends and family so no shortage of good food and company. Tonight I'm going to stay over at a friends house and three of us are going play Amnesia all night. HAHA!

    How was yours?

And Happy New Year to you too! :awesome:
