  1. They are absolute idiots. Took me 30 minutes to pick mine up. However, you can pick them up from the box office now. Mine are with me.
  2. At noon there were 60 people in line for Muse in Houston. So if you want stage I would recommend getting there early.
  3. About 60 people in line. Not too shabby. Also just heard The Globalist get sound checked. So probably the same set.
  4. I've never even heard of alt-J and I'm pretty musically inclined. Although my stuff is usually metal or industrial, so that could explain. But never heard of that group.
  5. I would expect a queue. Know a couple of people getting there around 10. The hardcore fans will be there no matter what. Muse is pretty popular in Houston, with the Buzz overplaying Dead Inside and Mercy. Looks like lower bowl is mostly sold out, few single seats in the 100s left.
  6. Phantogram at 7:30, so I'm going to guess Muse at 9. There's no curfew at Toyota Center or downtown Houston. Central time. I'll give a little recap since it's kind of the first date of the tour to either ease or further people's worries about the tour sometime tomorrow. Friend is getting there at 10, gonna meet up with her later in the day; couldn't get off work.
  7. Unfortunately for me since the rarest songs I've seen are Ruled by Secrecy and Sunburn...I think it'll be super vanilla. Maybe Bliss or something but I would expect a generic set list, in that 17-18 song range. But I don't care, the stage looks great, I like a lot of the songs this board doesn't, I love the energy of their shows and like super theatrical stage setups. I will have fun, so don't really care. If they break out a rarity or two and fix the setlist, cool! If not, I don't care.
  8. Looked at StubHub for Houston, show is tomorrow. Upper deck is most certainly gonna end up curtained off, tickets are going for $20 up there. But GA is back to $70, and from website it looks like lower bowl is nearly sold out. Not terrible, but not really much different from The Resistance tour. 2nd Law tour upper deck was about maybe 15% full. But here's what you have to consider...about a third of the stadium was blocked off for the stage in the past. We'll see what happens. Not sure the ticket sales will be much different from TR tour--at least in Houston. They are pretty big here too, we have a horrible radio station that has been playing Mercy every other song.
  9. GA tickets are going for $50 in Houston. Kinda pissed that I paid $75 pre sale. Although the lower bowl is still going for around $80 and is sold out on TM, seems like it's because the GA for these shows is gonna be pretty massive. Think about it, average GA extends halfway down the floor. At least that's how I can rationalize it. Because it doesn't make much sense, otherwise.
  10. TiRO is fantastic and such a good song here in the States live, because it's one of those "Man, I've heard this song before!! What a great song!" for all the Madness fans and then they all start going crazy for it. It's fun live. That bass is fantastic live, too.
  11. Drones Tour style. Of course this would require them to play 22-23 songs. Reapers Dead Star/Agitated/Fury/Citizen Erased/The Small Print [Drill Sergeant] Psycho Plug In Baby/Showbiz Dead Inside Bliss/Muscle Museum/Micro Cuts/MK Ultra/Map of the Problematique [interlude] The Handler Supermassive Black Hole Stockholm Syndrome [isolated System] Starlight Apocalypse Please/Jazzy Cave/Butterflies + Hurricanes Ruled by Secrecy/Hoodoo/Explorers United States of Eurasia [Munich Jam] Madness [JFK] Defector Revolt Hysteria Time is Running Out Uprising The Globalist [Drones] Mercy New Born/Assassin [Man With a Harmonica] Knights of Cydonia
  12. We won't be there until later, unfortunately. Not sure I can get off work. But definitely should meet up. I think we're FB friends, I'll send you a message!!
