Mastered for iTunes just means they run it through an EQ. Same file.

There's no different mixes. You're telling me Costey or Apple put the extra effort to mix it slightly different? All Mastered for iTunes means is they equalized it. You don't know what you're talking about.

It's actually transcoded from a 128 rip. Open it in Audacity. It's bad quality. Take an iTunes 320 and compare versions of The Handler. Transcoding adds clipping and compresses dynamics, that's why the cymbals sound tinny.

The leak is ripped horribly. Sounds transcoded. Thought that yesterday, when it made The Handler sound like trash. My opinion on the album is that 3 songs on it are garbage. I'll buy it, I guess.

That's because the first half is excellent. 23-year-old Matt would kick 36-year old Matt's ass if he saw him put a song like Revolt on their record. What you've heard now is as good as it gets.

Because there's a very noticeable drop in quality. You may enjoy it, but the music is literally becoming derivative.

Revolt is revolutionarily bad on every front.

I like The Globalist. Second half of the album is shit, other than that. Maybe the universally positive reception to The Handler will tell them that we need less Revolt and more The Handler. Revolt is worse than NSC, holy fuck. Album is a solid 3/5 and still substantially worse than anything pre BH&R.
