  1. A setlist where the songs are ordered by range, ending with the widest. The Small Print Thoughts of a Dying Atheist Micro Cuts Animals Sunburn Assassin Psycho Citizen Erased Recess Darkshines Hyper Music Dead Inside Defector Unnatural Selection Supremacy Plug In Baby Take A Bow Madness Uprising Showbiz Blackout KoC Spiral Static Survival Execution Commentary
  2. Muse are well aware of that, and that's the issue. A world club tour would need at least 3 times as many gigs as they normally do to even satisfy half the people who would normally buy tickets.
  3. While I agree that the UK have had loads of opportunities, at some point we gotta remind ourselves that Muse are an English band. They play where they want, and it's no surprise that they favourize playing close to home.
  4. Assassin Bliss Citizen Erased Darkshines Easily Follow Me Glorious Hysteria In Your World Jimmy Kane Knights of Cydonia Liquid State Map Of The Problematique New Born Overture Plug In Baby Reapers Stockholm Syndrome Take A Bow Unnatural Selection Who Knows Who Yes Please not too bad tbh.

  6. This one? I'd say Lies->Eternally Missed->Twin->SS is a bit weird. Exo-Politics->Take A Bow->In Your World as well, then Overture into New Born . Although I guess it isn't worse than some of the stuff Muse have done themselves. Liquid State Execution Commentary The Small Print Supermassive Black Hole Madness Undisclosed Desires Starlight Easily Animals Neutron Star Collision Dead Star Glorious Eternally Missed Take A Bow In Your World The Groove Overture New Born That's what I would do. EDIT: Just realised you even have New Born in yours twice.
  7. I'd say it's basically Eternally Missed Panic Station Overture I Belong To You that doesn't really work. But Muse only have two songs starting with O! and think it could work without being TOO jarring. My point is that you should at least try, otherwise it's no better than the shuffle setlists which were totally pointless (even by this thread's standards)
  8. What's random about my song order? I open with WATU, use TaB, Micro Cuts and Stockholm Syndrome as closers. I have a heavy section in the start which leads into a short piano section, followed by guitar based rarities. Then Isolated System before The Handler, which Muse have literally been doing themselves. JFK into Uprising, followed by Starlight, once again done by Muse.

  12. Are the sets supposed to be awful or did you just take the first songs you could think of? I mean the beauty of those kinds of setlists lies in the difficulty of writing a message and STILL making setlists that make sense.
  13. Best Muse moments (they don't work as well if you jump straight into them but I'm sure you've all seen them before: Blackout solo at Wembley 2007: "But I'm buuusy" Unintended Wembley 2007: Invincible post-solo yell at Reading 2006: The Showbiz falsetto at MCM 1999: The ending of the "acoustic" version of Unintended: That falsetto in Recess. Didn't think it was possible for him to sound so relaxed at that range:
  14. I think it says something about how we feel about Muse when a "goodbye gig" is such a common theme on here. Not that we're telling them to stop, but I think we kinda feel like they've said what they have to say, and at this point it's just about staying relevant. My goodbye gig: What's He Building In There* Dead Star New Born Hysteria Sunburn (guitar) Supermassive Black Hole Map Of The Problematique Citizen Erased Ruled By Secrecy Endlessly Space Dementia Invincible Assassin Psycho Reapers Madness Starlight Uprising Time Is Running Out Bliss Stockholm Syndrome Take A Bow Unintended Blackout Butterflies & Hurricanes Muscle Museum Plug In Baby Knights of Cydonia *There's a good chance I'd shed a tear if they opened their last gig with that
