yes!!!!!! i totally was driving the car (except for changing gears which i am told will be working on next week) scared the crap out of me i can tell you that... also had to do a U-turn at a traffic light, go up and down hills while accelerating and drive at 90 km/h.... on the freeway (not all at the same time, cause i just reread what i wrote and it sounded like i was doing all that at the same time) conversation between me and instructor as follows:

instructor: okay take a right here

me: but that's going on to the freeway

instructor: yeah... good practise for the pedals

me: okay, if you are sure

(now on the freeway)

instructor: you are going to have to pick up speed

me: but im already travelling at 80... isn't that fast enough?

instructor: no you have to go faster, and keep the car between 90 and 100

me: eeek

honestly, don't feel ashamed... driving... still not worth it in my mind

at least Alex has had experience driving!

true... winter is pleasant (except when you are stuck outside (say like at uni) and it is cold, wet and windy and you thought you wouldn't need your jumper so you left it at home)... summer is stupidly hot
