So, I just finished my finals a few days ago, and this kinda feels like the kind of track I should be making right now. Something along the lines of Groove Armada's By The River, but with Audrey Hepburn.

Idk, I think it needs a good string bit to it. I'd love to know how to use something like one of the NI String plugins, but I wouldn't know which is the best one to go for, or if there's a better string plugin.

Edit: I've built a few ' vzex' probes so if you need help let me know.

I can't listen on my phone but if this doesn't make me think of giant robots I'll be disappointed
lol. GET YISSER GIANT LAZ0RZZZ REDDY!!!

hahaha! legit.

So then I'll just remix it and it can be "Your band - Your song (Twicx Remix)" or whatever.
-
Feels like it should have this kinda vibe, but with WAY more bleep bloops, sub-bass, and some sort of vintagdisco glitched throughout the breaks in it, but that's just my take on it. It could go many many ways.

I'll chuck something quick together and see if you like it. No promises.

There's something very... Wolfmother about that. But I like it! Kinda have an urge to sample it and put some dirty ass drum beats and maybe some funkadellic disco synth on it.
Tasty bitch is tasty.

Selection of tracks I've done recently. Still needs a lot of work though.

ah right. LED based dials look awesome. I love them on my APC40.

does that pedlol in the middle have glowing knobs?

metric was more difficult for me to learn, but then again, i am americaish and drive on the retarded side of the road
fixed.
Yeah I never really understood the whole thing about balancing cabs with certain amp heads. It confuses me how a 4x12 can sound shit with a 100W amp head, but then sounds tasty with a little 1/4W amp head.
maybe if it was explained in metric.

Cupboard?
"closet" to you lot. Probably have to measure the size of it in foreignheight or sommet. "Yeah it's 11 and 7/8's inches to the back of the 12th century on this one."
here's an accurate graph to help you understand:
On more relevant news, jaeaaems, that amp is a nice find. Have you tried it with any of your other amp heads?

i got one from camerarepublic.com . free shipping etc. cheers Matt.

Hey chapps and chappettes,
I'm looking for something that unfortunately, 7dayshop is sold out of. They used to stock nikon macro tubes that were under £10, and shipping was about £4 to d'Ireland. I got a bunch of filters etc from them just before christmas, and they're awesome. Now, I want those macro tubes, but all the american sites, although the tubes are much the same price (~$14), shipping is like $60, which is bullshit imo.
SO, does anyone know of/can suggest a non-ebay shop in the UK or Europe, that is just as good as 7dayshop?

oh god, that was a bad purchase...

nah was just being hipster. So far it's very impressive. I need to sit down later after work and go through things like my midi mappings etc, but so far, I'm very impressed. I'm going to pick up a little 20 euro wireless keyboard in work too, just for convenience. Had a go of the Kaoss Quad while i was in the shop. They're not that bad really. I could see myself considering one in the future.

Cheers. I'll give it a look. I think if i can get something kinda orchestral and then put a sort of subtle vibrato effect on it to make it sound like an old slightly-warped record, I'd be happy with that.
Possibly a little piano thrown in for good measure?
