Well I was walking through the shops today when I heard a song that sounded familiar and I thought "Wouldn't it be cool if it was a Muse song" and then I stopped and went back because I thought I heard Matt's voice on the song, turns out it was Knights of Cydonia Then when I went into the hairdressers Feeling Good was playing! It wasn't the Muse version but it was still good. Then I went into Sanity because for the past 3 Months I've been trying to get Showbiz (they only ever have Origins of Symmetry) and it was there! So I've had a very Musey day and now I own a copy of Showbiz

 Start with songs like TIRO and Starlight because they are pretty easy and fun to play and then learn Muscle Museum to help your right hand. And then just learn whatever song you feel you can play (pretty much all Muse songs are fairly easy to learn)  Also go to ADAM's site, it has lots of good Muse drum tabs

just try getting the hi-hat going and then try and add the beat when you feel your ready to. Just keep doing that and you should get it pretty quickly.

yes but if you play it on the double pedal it leaves your hands free tp do other things. But I do see your point...

You've NEVER heard someone use a double bass well? it doesn't have to be used for constant drumming until it just sounds dull and monotonous, it can be used to make a good beat. I think this song has a decent drum beat on the double pedal(wait until about 40 seconds into it, )

Thats a lot of Cymbals! And about double bass being good, I don't know if Neil Peart uses a DP in the actual songs but, have you seen pretty much everything after the 6 minute mark is my favourite part of the solo. Although I'm willing to admit that the only time I've heard a good Double bass is when listening to A Neil Peart Solo.

Sorry if this has been asked before but the search is pretty bad. I was wondering if anyone knows if Dom uses a Double Pedal for the live version of Dead Star, I'm trying to learn the song but I'm having trouble hitting the bass drum 3 times really quickly, does he use a DP or is there some way of being able to hit it really quickly without one? Thanks in Advance!
