Sorted. I will assume that my man points are back up to zero now. I do have to replace the body on the blue one though. The anti mojo turned that and a bunch of other things yellow...but it's good news for @jbias12 anyway. #bargain

Generally I wouldn't be too surprised by stuff like that on a second hand guitar (unless advertised as flawless) That's just me though. Also, as you're in the USA and the guitar has a rosewood fretboard, were there any signs of the box being opened and inspected by US plant and wildlife or whatever it's called? It appears that they're fairly careful (unlike the TSA...) when inspecting shipments, but you never know. But yeah, I'm sure MGW will make it right. If you decide to call them, just remember the time difference.

Nice. Remember to mess with the internal trim pot as well - makes a bit of a difference in the sweep of the gain control (or something like that) I've only really used it on the fretboards, but I've HEARD it's ok to use on finishes as well. If you use it on your fretboard, it'll dry it out within seconds, so have some oil ready.

Well it doesn't have to be exactly like that. I guess that makes sense, provided they're delivered at the same time. Do you have to pay in full up front? I'd get a 6 string, but with different features from the MB-1. Of course, we wouldn't be having this discussion right now if your yamaha was still with us

Let's not forget that brexit caused Bs to request that last custom... do we need another event like that for him to buy another guitar? Sounds like you have some kind of inside information. And that seems like a fairly long build time for a pedal. Three won't be forever the magic number as you're only pretty much broke these days. But if you did get another knobby creation, would it be a 7 string again?
