  1. TM is listing a 2nd show for Dec 19th now but it links to the 18th. Jumping the gun perhaps.

  3. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/muse-plot-first-four-dates-of-u-s-drones-tour-20150921 Phantogram are apparently the opening act for the North American tour, or at least the 4 announced shows.
  4. http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?t=89232 Yes, Oakland last tour was sold out at 11,431 while Portland was 6,824. Presumably, the floor will not be able to contain quite as many people since the stage is rather massive. If they closed off the upper bowl for Portland, it wouldn't look too terrible.
  5. You have to log in at muse.mu and then click the Members button at the top of the page. It's just one code for all 4 shows, but it doesn't say whether it can be used multiple times.

  8. yeah, presumably they are only counting the shows VIP tickets will actually be sold for. Jan/Feb is generally not a pleasant time to be traveling around here so this isn't great news. Also wondering how soon they can really turn around from US to the Paris shows, unless they have 2 different stages.
  9. December 2009 was only West Coast radio station fests, so it's not impossible that NYC wouldn't be played. Though I think they also did SNL around that time, too. That list doesn't have any of the Mexico dates on it, so there may be shows preceding Portland. Or it might not even be real at all.
  10. When are Not So Silent Night and KROQ Almost Acoustic Xmas usually? Seems like it's right around that general time frame. Those 4 shows are probably all things like that, if they're legit (and that's a big if).
  11. I thought US/Canada was always supposed to be Fall/Winter 2015, so L.A. in November makes perfect sense, possibly en route to Mexico. It is getting frustrating with the lack of tour dates, but at this rate they'll probably just end up doing a handful of shows this year in markets they know they don't need a lot of forewarning to sell out (maybe including some of those holiday radio fest things) and then come back in the summer for a bigger tour.
  12. NIN's production has never cut down on costs, though. Trent's repeatedly made comments in the past how he's barely broken even with his elaborate setups. If Muse go this route, it'll just mean higher ticket prices passed onto the consumer, and they already have enough problems filling arenas in several U.S. markets.
  13. Winter 2015 is a bit of a misnomer since winter doesn't even actually start until Dec 21. But I'd be really shocked if the US tour continued into January at all. Logistically they'd presumably have to take the better part of Dec 23-31 off so Chris/Dom could go back home for the holidays. Matt's the only one that lives in LA, right? Plus I thought European indoor tour was gonna be Jan/Feb/Mar-ish. We're now as little as 3 months out from some of these supposed shows happening, and if they want tickets to sell for a 360 arena setup, they best get on it soon...
  14. This. I once took a trip to Chicago with my boyfriend for Thanksgiving because Tori Amos was playing both the day before and after the holiday there. It was actually amazing being in the city for it. I know that's an extreme example, but bands often do play shows near that time - even big bands like Fleetwood Mac just did last year. This is almost getting to the territory of saying bands should only play on weekends because people have jobs or whatever. All that said, the entire Nov-Mar time can be hellish weather in the upper midwest. What I'm dreading more than anything is driving through a snowstorm for Muse. That does seem to be the time they usually roll through here though.
  15. Kind of weird that they'd have a semi-public dress rehearsal in L.A. around July 31/August 1 though, only to take the whole rest of the month off. But yeah it's seemingly way too short notice to announce anything now unless it's really small venues again.
  16. Yeah, I dunno about that one. Why is Muse really the only band I've seen that has those kinds of issues there? Is there a significantly higher asshole troll fanbase or something?
