  2. Easiest might be to try in the Stratford/Olympic Park complex, there's lots of restaurants there that wont be busy, then head to the arena. Las Iguanas has an online booking and there's one outside the O2 from what I remember
  3. My Vitriol are still going? Is it just for this gig or for all of them?
  4. I was thinking Assassin might fit after JFK but also be hideously inappropriate
  5. Somehow Starlight-Feeling Good-Madness actually worked in Manchester, even if I wouldn't choose to have those 3 on the set. Map straight after helped, if it had been UD or Resistance then it would have revised my opinion. JFK+Defector or nothing. Was absolutely pointless to have it. They really need to get rid of the interludes. Saturday night's set had Drones+Repaers+Drill Sergeant+Psycho. An interlude in the second song... By the way, to those who went last night, how long did it take to get out of the venue and on to a jubilee line train? I want to get to Paddington by 23:03 and wondering if that's possible if they finish at 22:30
  6. Easily, you could walk it and make it. Or take the tram to Deansgate and a 30 second train
  7. I'm in London on business and found a cheap ticket. Is it Phantogram supporting?
  8. My thoughts on last night: - Great start, weird middle, good ending - Feeling Good was the only piano song I could see fitting in that slot, but those three songs were hardly my highlights - Guy infront of me at the bar was desperate to see Resistance but i'm glad he was disappointed - Bliss should be on most setlists
  9. I was more referring to the stadium gigs. I didn't get a ticket to the arena ones because I was quite bored of their shows after The Resistance then was pleasantly surprised by the sets on the next tour.
  10. I don't think the problem has ever been that they are playing new material, it is more the second bit. Then when you do look at songs they have brought back from previous albums, especially from The Resistance I don't feel these songs reflect Muse's back catalogue well at all (the last tour had Unintended, Feeling Good, Blackout, Guiding Light, Resistance, Undisclosed Desires all in the same set).
  11. Muse are the Manchester United of music, it's more about big radio hits to expand into new markets rather than re-creating former glories. Occasionally they'll pull out a big performance like old-times but more often than not it'll be a bit safe and at times infuriating.
