  1. I wasn't using Cubase, I'm using a hardware sequencer thing, with that I can hook up a footswitch and start and stop the sequence as I please. I don't think it's possible to use the Whammy's bypass switch to start/stop, that would involve a MIDI out on the Whammy. I'll try recording something if I get a chance.
  2. Just given this a go, regardless of whether it sounds like MOTP, it's really cool, especially if you wanted to get a dancey rythym thing going on in your songs.
  3. Nah, I was wrong, blatently a guitar effect. Simno managed to get something very similar sounding, can't remember how he did it.
  4. Got a track available for download up on my MySpace. Not for the faint hearted though /enjoy
  5. Doubt any of you really care, but what the hell, would defeat the point of this thread if I didn't plug something regardless of whether anyone gives a shit. Anyway, a couple of new songs on my myspace page http://www.myspace.com/the3rdstoreychemist Not necessarily finished, few things I may change/add, but enjoy/comment/send death threats/set up suicide pacts/whack one off, whatever it is you kids do to music these days...
  6. Amp distortion. Which is what Matt uses 99% of the time.
  7. No, it's not a Fuzz Factory. Plus a Fuzz Factory is a fuzz, not a distortion, there is a difference believe it or not.
  8. Ok, The 3rd Storey Chemist EP is available from tomorrow onwards. Priced £3 and I'm 'limiting' the number of copies to no more than 100. Please get in touch through whatever means you deem fit so we can sort something out. I don't think I'll be able to post them for a little while, but I will reserve copies for those that do want one, which is only fair.
  9. If you have a Jag, it would be perfect for SMBH.
  10. Anyone interested in hearing my new band, go on the 3rd Storey Chemist profile and listen to the song called 'Jam Thing', it's a rather crap recording done with one mic and unfortunately our bassist couldn't be there when we recorded this.
  11. And I got out of bed at 7'o'clock in the morning after getting no sleep whatsoever to help you lot.
  12. Where's my mention for assisting you lot with The Children Of Myra? I spent ages tuning up your guitar after the mess you left it in, along with setting up the mics, mixer, Logic.....
  13. You could at least assist by suggesting ways to get rid of the hiss and stuff like that, telling him to do it, when he may not necessarily know isn't helpful in the slightest.
  14. New song ('Untitled' until I think of something rather crap to call it) up on http://www.myspace.com/the3rdstoreychemist A couple more song should be enough for an EP I think. Edit - Added another slightly random track that I did a while ago aswell.
  15. No, it's just the three instruments (Although one of them is technically a sample, but that's not really the point) Anyway, there's a couple more 'songs' up, one of the is just a noise track showing off what I can do with a Fuzz Probe.
  16. No, not reformed, it's still me and Kyle (Bassist), but we've got a new drummer now, don't know what's going on with vocals. Going to be renamed and stuff, but we've got all the BlueShift songs at our disposal (Aswell as new ones), so basically we can get gigging with a full set again in no time.
  17. The BlueShift album may be re-recorded sometime in the future, so may be better to wait for that, but I'll have to see what's going on there, it's all a bit vague at the moment. I'm mostly concerned about playing a few gigs.
