mwanafalsafa Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Has anyone heard or read anything about Muse possibly coming out with a new full-length DVD? Given how elaborate their stage setup is for the Resistance Tour it seems like it would be a waste not to turn one of those shows into a DVD on par with HAARP. I haven't heard anything myself, I'm just curious.
Cosmo57 Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 I wouldn't mind a DVD of Wembley '10, just like HAARP, seeing as I'm not going. Please, guys... pweeez
Calliope. Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 I wouldn't mind a DVD of Wembley '10, just like HAARP, seeing as I'm not going. Please, guys... pweeez Yeah, that would be so good
AviatorAsphyxiation Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 apparently, Kirky's had his camera out for a few gigs, so, who knows?
schneck Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 They record every show they play, not sure about the festivals, but stadium shows surely. In january there were some speculations about tour document so.. who knows.. but HAARP 2 would be the best
mudkipmanxp1 Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Matt and Dom said in an interview that they want to do a DVD like this one. And they've recorded every stadium show, and i'm sure they've recorded or will be able to get footage from their festival shows. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live!_Tonight!_Sold_Out!!
AviatorAsphyxiation Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 it could be a complete mashup of all the festivals and stadium shows. they didn't allow the BBC to show all of their T setlist, maybe that's going to make an appearance?
torelle Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Do they really record every stadium show? If they do, how come there isn't more pro shot footage of their recent gigs? (Like the Oracle Arena show, I'd love to get a DVD of that!!!)
Glorious Resistance Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Weren't they talking about that a long time ago? Back in February or something? I'd expect it to come out at the end of the year. That's just my guess. No idea. But from what I remember it's going to be a documentary type themed DVD with random bits of footage from some of their gigs for The Resistance tour.
Melissaaa Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Yeah, and Matt mentioned something about Christmas being good for business. As in they're hoping to have some sort of a release out at the end of this year. But then obviously they've got so much to do apart from this as well, and so fingers crossed really!
Neon Leopard Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 I hope they make something of the 6 March Boston gig. There were so many special moments at that one.

Wow, they have mega footage to go through then, hopefully some fun things too! Didn't they have a full gig on Myspace or something like that?
MUSEirik Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 As Melissaaa said, they talked about releasing a new DVD for christmas. I don't know what I hope for the most; a "new HAARP", from Wembley, something from the Resistance tour with the towers, or a mashup of lots of gigs (if they include the one from Bergen, because I got filmed all the time But they probably won't).
Minimal Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Even better. They could release a Blu-Ray. Muse in 1080p? Yes Please.
MUSEirik Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Even better. They could release a Blu-Ray. Muse in 1080p? Yes Please. No, because then I would have to buy a Blu-Ray player. No, I don't have it yet. Yes, I would have bought it just to see Muse on it.
