Jaicen Posted November 1, 2013 Share Posted November 1, 2013 Having done this myself, I know that the hardest part of operating a studio is attracting customers. You need two things, a good website that you can find by googling "Recording Studio *wherever you are*", and you need to rent out space for bands to rehearse. If you hire out drum kits and big amps, new bands will start to use you for rehearsing, and then eventually, recording demos which is the first thing they think about once they've nailed that cover version of Creep or whatever.
