Where's the OOS anniversary re-release?

I can see why it would be interesting to hear, but I'm in agreement with the others that it would seem a little like OOS was getting the Star Wars treatment. Also, if they had the studio time to spend on such a project I'd prefer they work on new stuff.

Ugh, the Star Wars treatment :vomit:

I think you've successfully deterred me from my previous opinion.

Clunge is right; there's no need for a remaster or a new recording. But there are a lot of interesting things that can be done through an anniversary release without needing a crazy amount of extra work. Having the Reading/Leeds concert might be a good idea, but I'd rather have that in a Blu-ray format than packaged as a second-disc DVD.

I guess I'm mostly just thinking about everything that's buried in the Muse vaults and wondering if it will ever see the light of day.

re-mastering is usually something a band done when it has dried up. Inevitably this will happen to Muse at some point. Maybe in ten years and after the singles collection they said would never happen.
