What else would we do? Hold hands and sing along to Aftermath?!
Yes.

I've never understood this board's fascination with trying to prove each other's opinions wrong.

Audio-Technicas are usually your best bet for lower price ranges on over the ear.

I think listening to the album outside the context of being a Muse fan really helps. My wife loves the album for example, thinks it's one of the things she's ever heard. I think it's a good album but not even top 3 for Muse.
-
Not cardio-wise.

Was watching a periscope. Sounded really out of breath on Dead Inside. Again. (and bits of Hysteria too)
He's the least in shape member of the band and he should be the best in shape.

Killlledd by faabriiiiii(killled by fabri) My mother, my father(fathher killled) by fabriii(fabri, fabri)

If anything the single choices are probably indicative of the sound they'd want to pursue in the future
Good god.

I almost guarantee he's going to laze off the final verse/chorus live as he did in the Soundcheck. Still great though.

I wanted to put down AP so badly but SD is just so bombastic, couldn't lose.

Never seen such a divided Muse poll before
I honestly think the poll would have been more favorable if people(like myself) would have waited to let it grow on them.
I thought this was the worst piece of shit Muse ever created on first listen, then I kept humming it while I was working and I just had to get my fix again.

4/5 from Sputnik.
No way! I was expecting lower. Sputnik is usually pretty spot on with their reviews, their Muse ones I generally agree with as well(except I think Resistance is way better than 2nd Law)

Reapers was a pretty good main set closer when I saw it. Psycho is an incredible opener, i'd keep it there.
-
I completely love it now. Can't wait to hear this one live!
I feel like it would be a monster live. I could almost see it as an encore opener with JFK.
-
Personally, I'd deal with the Radiohead ripoff accusations and have another Absolution/OOS quality album.
-
That's why I said it, getting him in would result in every fucker on the Internet making jokes for eternity, already lazy music critics would have a field day and it would make them generally a laughing stock to a lot of people
Would it matter if it could elevate the music to another level? They write way different to Radiohead now anyway.
-
It's worth listening to just for that insane falsetto before the last chorus.
-
Just Googled who Nigel Godrich is.
Can't tell if you guys are joking or not...
I was expecting this sort of reaction lol. Personally, i'm completely serious. It's not just for his work with Radiohead but he also basically made my favorite Beck album. It's just a pipe-dream though.

I've thought this for a while as well.
I could only imagine how he would have made tracks like Aftermath sound with his input. He's got a fantastic atmospheric sound to his production.

I wanna change my vote, I like it now.

No problem with a producer however people mentioning (without sources) that Matt said mutt is the one who told him to write simple lyrics has made me resent him as I feel this album could have been infinitely better with better lyrics as tbh I like it I think but lyrically it is awful. But as I said I don't know whether mutt actually told him that
Yeah, apparently Matt strayed off with the lyrics and it became too convoluted or something. Mutt told him to keep it simple and relatable. No one can be really sure if it's all on Mutt's blame for the lyrics on the album, Matt wrote them after all, but considering that quote I'm sure he had a hand in it. I know it would almost be suicidal for their reputation in the online communities and it probably would never happen, but I'd love for Muse to work with Nigel Godrich.
-
Leckie.
I'd love that personally but apparently Matt didn't like his work.
-
Precisely for that i think there is an extended version of the Globalist unreleased.
I'm pretty sure they're in there. Super low in the mix, but I hear them.
-
I think that the tremolo riff should have been longer, it's now one of my favourite riffs they've ever written, and one of the heaviest too
They should have written a song based off of it honestly.
