And a bit yellow.
his belly especially.

RIP Defector hype.
-
Stockholm needs to be a staple. Probably their consistently best live song.
-
No Stockholm again i'm guessing
-
Do those guitars turn hot? I don't have a clue.
Not really but they start to stick once you start sweating and it's not fun ripping off your skin.
-
I don't know how I feel about TIRO into Reapers. Considering the visuals it looks like it's here to stay too.
That said, I fucking love Reapers.
-
Is this the first time Matt played the holey guitar? Suits Starlight for sure.
-
Supremacy is fun live if you ask me. Slow for the majority of it but the bouncy guitar and "Live and Let Die" breakdown makes up for it.
-
Except piano bombast, yeah it does.
That's what Apocalypse Please is for.
Edit: dammit
-
Matt was just about to cum during that CE solo.

Matt's falsetto for The Handler finally sounds up to scratch. Best performance of the song so far.
-
My list changes every other hour, no way would I try this.

I think Hysteria's alright as a staple tbh. It's one of their most well-known songs and, while it sounds a bit same-y to us 'cause we've heard it a thousand times, casuals understandably love it. Plus, it's not like it actively sounds kinda meh like TIRO does.
TIRO is a killer life for casuals though.

That crowd, jesus. You get Assassin and act like you're watching Madness.
-
muse s'amuse isn't a spam account, i'm just sure they're a robot or something. Obsessed with numbers, love it.
-
The Handler is as Muse as it gets, sounds like it would have shared the same album as Fury. Reapers is a ton of influences compressed into one song, but even then the verses sound distinctly Musey to me.

Showbiz: Unintended
OOS: Feeling Good
Absolution: uhhhhhh, TOADA I suppose.
BH&R: Soldier's Poem
The Resistance: Guiding Light
T2L: Follow Me
Drones: Drones

Am I the only person that doesn't actually mind the use of the lyric "mean"??
I didn't when I convinced myself that he was meaning it in a statistical way.

People on Reddit already have their DVRs set and promised to upload it HD. I think we'll be okay.
-
It has to be said though, lately Matt has stepped up his vocal performances. He's been on great form after a shaky start to the festival tour.

My personal favorite Plug in Baby. He gimps out on the final falsetto a bit but the actual performance from the band is amazing.

Citizen Erased>Micro Cuts was boss, Screenager>Dark Shines wasnt half bad either. I'm a big fan of how Exo flows and Reapers>The Handler>Defector is probably the best trio they've ever done.
The aforementioned MOTP>Soldier's Poem is pretty atrocious, it's part of the reason why I always end up skipping Soldier's Poem anytime it pops up. Not a big fan of Small Print>Endlessly>TOADA either.
But I don't think Muse is all that bad at album flow, people give them a lot of shit but they're not the worst offenders on the planet. I kind of like the stark contrasts sometimes because it keeps an album fresh, sometimes it gets exhausting listening to the similar flowing tracks for a long period of time. Helps they're brilliant musicians as well.

Not really rediscovering it but Reapers have been on replay a lot for me lately. That last bit of the solo with the whammy gets me every time.
-
And then these people vote
Sad part is, Matt's probably watching the video and thinking to himself "Fucking hell she's right."

I loved when they used to play Nishe pre-USOE during the Resistance tour, my favorite "jam" ever. This jam isn't half bad, I probably only enjoy it because I play bass and it's fun to play.
