Since they played RBS is Glasgow last tour I have some hope for a rarity. No doubt it'll be on the second night though
-
Second date added. Does this mean the set on the 18th will be way better?
-
Finally got tickets. Didn't expect the them to be as expensive, but I'm sure they'll be worth it
-
Tried again and managed to get tickets
The site wouldn't work on my laptop but did on my phone, if that's helpful to anyone with the same problem
-
Ticketmaster's site is fucking useless
-
Have you checked the members bit of the main .mu site? There should be codes there if you registered before 9 september.
-
Completely forgot about the stream
Still got a bit of a problem with the fuzz factory and sustainac. When the FF gets switched on the string stops vibrating as if I've switched the sustainiac off, then vibrates again when the FF is off. Anyone else had this problem/ know how to sort it?
-
Mine arrived today
Can't fault it, other than the sustainiac being really weak if my fuzz factory's on. Is that a common issue or does the sustainer intensity need tweaked a bit?
-
Finally finished the mods on my Jaguar, its not perfect such as ideally I'll get a new pickguard made but my attempt will do for the meanwhile! But overall really chuffed that it's all came together finally, and pretty proud of the midi strip horn plate
Also have no idea how the sustainiac worked first time considering that I am terrible at following wiring diagrams
cheers again James for the MBK2, sounds insane! Edit: forgot to put the screws in the toggle switch control plate
Looks brilliant! Nice work

QOTSA - I Feel Like A Millionaire with Chris doing reapers style whispery vocals and Matt doing the rest
I'd like to hear them do Hanging Tree more.
-
What bass is that?
Looks like a Fender Jaguar bass of some sort
-
That's the kind of specimen that us Scots would refer to as a 'fud'
-
Nice. Love the big cbs headstocks

Ah ok. I imagine you know how to set both of those settings up. I asked because I thought you might want help in setting whatever you were doing up.
Not looked at the instructions yet, so I might need help when I go to do it.
If you are switching between 2 amps I recommend having something like TheGigRig Humdinger, I've used if for the last few months with 2 amps and have no ground loops or humhttp://www.thegigrig.com/acatalog/HumDinger.html
Or if you want 3 amps get the Palmer Triage, built like a tank
Hadn't even thought of hum or anything with 2 amps. Can it be quite loud?
Set it to A <-> Bypass and connect it to loop A (the top jacks)You can also do this with loop B, but it would be need to be set to B <-> bypass
Does your amp have an effects loop? Best thing to do is use it there.
The Vox one I use most doesn't, but the Fender one might. I don't use it as much though cause it's fuck off loud even at the lowest setting
Thanks for the advice everyone!

Was going to have it switching the kaoss pad in and out of the chain, but might have it set so I can use 2 amps instead. Not had a chance to mess about with it yet though.

Also, spent a while redoing my pedal carousel today. The bondage gear from Bs came in handy too...
I don't know how people like Jim can fit so many in there.
That Back To The Future pedal looks bright.
Going to redo my board in a few days now my LS-2 has arrived. No idea how I'm going to have it set up though

Still don't get why a backing track is used in The Handler for the vocal echo, rather than running Matt's voice through a delay for those bits.
-
Saw something about that on twitter the other day, but wasn't sure if it was real
Also, an LS-2 is the best thing to get if I want to switch my KP2 in and out of the chain, isn't it? Discovered earlier that my Distortron sounds way better without signal going through the fanboi pad.

I think I usually tune out before KoC, but is that a new guitar?
New-ish, he first used it at Big Weekend a few weeks ago if I remember right.
Slightly late, but CE sounded amazing tonight.

Did you all see this?
https://musenewses.wordpress.com/2015/07/11/muse-matt-bellamy-australian-guitar-magazine-2015/
Not a whole lot of information regarding gear, but still a good read.
Anyone know if the matt black on the cover is the original one?
Seems like it's the same one that was used in the Psycho video and chucked about on the Psycho tour because of the body cracks, and I think that's his first one, but I've lost the plot with which one's which.

The tone is similar, but doesn't the blue box only really work on high notes? Or maybe I'm thinking of a different pedal.
Yeah, it's best on higher notes. I tried playing assassin with mine and it didn't sound great.
-
Sounds a bit like a blue box, but too nice to be that. I thought it was the axe fx and a fuzz factory.

You should be!
Are you following me on there? Because I honestly don't know half the people that do, so I don't follow back unless I know who it is.
Yeah I am, only been for about a week though

They're playing in Edinburgh at Hogmanay. Need to see if tickets are still available.
