  1. I'm waiting for a version with Psycho in it to see it in full, but from what I've seen it looks so good. Thanks God it was streamed! (I guess God in this case is Warner)
  2. Punktastic, an English punk/core site, seems to like Drones: http://punktastic.com/reviews/muse-drones-2/
  3. Yeah, this. definitely this. I started loving this one particularly as I was walking in my small town in the countryside. It rained a lot but clouds were being replaced by a wonderful setting sun. Everything seemed in the right place, especially when that third part kicked in, I felt a strange sensation of comfort I haven't ever felt in the last three months. That's pretty stupid, I know, but music is emotion anyway.
  4. Got my cd+dvd today and, fuck, those performances of Reapers and Psycho
  5. It's gone, you know it's gone for good Anyway, that's what a setlist should look like. And I noticed CE slowness too, but it's nothing compared to the incredibly boring New Born from The Resistance tour and I'm sure I wouldn't have cared about it if I were there so I just hope they're not ditching it after Download. I think I'll bottle them if they do.
  6. It's slowly becoming my favourite from Drones. It just feels so apocalyptic while being very emotional, and emotional is good if you ask me. Loving the transition from first to second part and the piano ending! In my opinion lyrics are quite good too
  7. His description of the Board is pretty accurate anyway

I still have mixed feelings about this one, it might be a "so bad it's good" for me. I know it's pretty bland and ridiculous, but there's something so old-fashioned Muse that makes me quite like it, it could be because I actually do like those Showbiz songs that everyone seems to dislike.
  9. But distortion IS always better, isn't it?
  10. But we already knew it, didn't we?

I'd surely sing it if they played it at the gig I'm going, as I sang Neutron Star Collision back in 2010 I was like "no, I won't cheer at it and I won't scream those stupid lyr... oh, fuck it, looove is forever"
  12. I think the concept behind this one is quite the same as the one behind Megalomania. In Megalomania there's this big church organ (and we all know it) but its lyrics is the opposite of a religious hymn. Here, in my opinion, it's the same: Matts are religiously singing about drones, people dying because of them, probably addressing to a dictator (who feels like a God?). And it's this juxtaposition between spiritual and cruelly artificial that gives sense to this one, especially if seen as the ending of The Globalist. At least I feel this way. But I'm probably just seeing too much into it
  13. I'd say it's an extended version of what you hear in the making of, so yeah
  14. Drones is on par with BHAR to me too, for now. It's pretty solid as an album and I'm starting to really dig Aftermath/The Globalist/Drones. Revolt is my least favourite but it's not as bad as other previously released songs in my opinion, at least it's funny
  15. This one sounds to me as if Queen decided to go grunge, it's probably one of my favourites from Drones
  16. This is an interesting way to end an album and I really like what I'm hearing, considering how I've interpreted the whole thing. But I'm pretty sure it'd be better if listened while high lol

This. And I know I shouldn't say this, but I get a Pablo Honey vibe in the chorus (not saying it's a good thing, I really dislike Pablo Honey)
