  1. That reminds me randomly of a chair I spotted at the O2 back in 2012 with the wheels adorned with the Resistance album cover. I was very taken by that, and always rather regretted not stopping and complementing the owner - it was pure class!

    It isn't my own wheelchair but, if it were, I could customise it like that!:D

  2. :LOL::LOL:

    When are you planning to arrive on the day?

    I will be there,hopefully, when the doors open. I'll be in a wheelchair pushed by a tall, young man. We both wear glasses and have brown hair. If you see us, please come and say 'hello.' :) There is a photo of me on my website; the link is below. In the top right corner of the home page is a tiny photo which magically gets bigger if you click on it.

  3. Why ask the board though? Could've easily approached Facebook/Tumblr/Reddit or whatever and got the "simple questions". They know how the board is.

    'They know how the board is?'

  4. I have only been to one other MUSE gig which was at Wembley in 2007 I think - very different experience as you coudl see and feel more of the crowd.

    I think I woudl agree the people standing at the front were relaxed in comaprison to 2007 - only Knights got a massive reaction.

    Show started 8.40 and definitley finished closer to 10.25 by my reckoning.

    As for standing in seated area - always a touchy subject. The block 100 tickets are expensive at £75 - so unless everyone was standing I don't think you can moan - particularly when there is a standing section for the gig.

    I can't stand for more than a few minutes so I would be mightily pissed if someone stood up in the seat in front of me for the whole show.:mad:

  5. Google to the rescue.

    I would say tho, based on the last couple of years, that you'd probably prefer the temperatures around early September - or late June at the earliest - just because there's a greater chance of consistent warmth. May is always all over the place, so I wouldn't even consider it. And even the entire month of June last year was stupidly cold (after they had forecast a hotter than average summer lmao), so idk man it's all crazy.

    Tbh, July and August are the only months I'd recommend anyone taking a summer vacation in Finland but since those aren't an option then lol oop. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Thanks! We don't have children of school age so we could travel in July or August but it's always more expensive and much busier. We're holidaying for the first time ever in early September this year (France) so that would be my preference for next year, if we have any money left!

  6. I'll go when doors open anyway. I want to hear the support (I can never remember their name!):(

    As for Matt's deteriorating vocals being a sign of 'the beginning of the end,' isn't that a bit of an over-reaction? he's getting older and his voice is getting deeper so he can't hit notes that are quite so high. I'll be able to hear for myself in a week's time but I hope this is the explanation and not anything more serious.

  7. Sorry for posting in English but my husband wants to have a holiday in Helsinki (but not this year.) I am a wheelchair user and I was frozen last year in Amsterdam when the temperature dropped to 12 degrees celsius. What is the weather like in May, June and September? I can't move around to keep warm.:(

  8. This.

    So how apprehensive are we all feeling then regarding the Monday? Personally I can see only two outcomes we get shafted or we get the best night of the lot. I guess we need to remember technically we aren't the first night at the O2 so that should help :LOL:

    FFS! Stop worrying about it and just look forward to it! Some fans NEVER get to see them live!

  9. I've got my ticket for this one and the 14th so far iirc (and my Manchester date but that's separate).

    Mine arrived this morning.:musesign::dance:

    Support act will be Phantogram. I've listened to one of their songs online and I really like them. People on the board who have seen them live say they are excellent.:D

  10. The Brits are awful awards, worse than the Grammys. Maybe it's a good idea they weren't nominated for any. :LOL:

    I don't agree. I watched the first hour last night and really enjoyed it.

    Maybe everyone doesn't agree that it's "fabulous"?

    I don't see why; it's better than T2L and wasn't that nominated?

    Because they're too good obviously.

    I don't think that's the reason. I wonder if they've pissed off someone involved in the selection process?
