"The @Muse guys just stopped by backstage at #iHeartRadio -- committing 2014 to working on a new album and maaaybe playing one U.S. festival."

One US festival and nowhere else in the whole world?

Also, part of Ireland is in the UK

Yes but Slane Castle is in the part of Ireland that ISN'T in the UK.

T In The Park, Isle Of Wight and V Festival a possibility?

They didnt play Scotland on the current stadium tour and havent played IOW or V for long time.

They didn't play Wales, either, so I reckon they should play Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland next time and everyone who lives in England can travel to one of those gigs, just as we had to travel to England this time. The Millenium Stadium in Cardiff is a great venue and Muse were here a few years ago (sadly before I became a fan).:(

  3. Trust you to approve of the BellDom antics, but not the things that the crowd really cheers for (guitar throws). Besides, Stade de France was probably the first time in like 10+ years that Dom actually got hit by a guitar. It's not a frequent occurence since Matt is usually good about not getting them close to him, and Dom being good at dodging them.

I approve of anything that doesn't really physically hurt Dom, and Matt only has to hurt him once. Just because it hasn't happened before doesn't mean it never will. I don't understand why the crowd cheers to see someone of whom they are fans having a guitar thrown at them.

  4. First of all they're definitely not idiots, they're both very kind, intelligent people, and good friends of mine, thanks :)

They're both 16, and it would be safe to say that it's their way of bonding.

I think a lot of guys find it hard to hug or cuddle their friends due to fear of being labelled (and only society can be blamed for that) so it's kinda like their way of showing they care, if that makes sense. It's also an instinctual, primal thing to play fight that's in our genes, especially in boys' case.

I know it might be hard to understand for someone who's not a teenager, we are a confusing bunch after all, but it's really not a sign of being an idiot :p

They're not always as violent as I said in my post, but they horse around jokingly a lot, as do nearly all the guys I know of all ages

I don't think Matt does what he does in the same way though, I think it's more a spur of the moment kind of thing, and I doubt he was aiming for Dom. Well at least I hope he wasn't

My apologies. I don't think it's spur of the moment with Matt as I believe he's done it for a very long time. I don't want him to grow up in the sense that I think he should stop clowning around; I think he should take seriously the possible harm he could do to a man he obviously cares about. I'm a big Dom fan and I'd rather he weren't hurt. Matt can smack his bum any time he wants - now THAT'S funny - but I wish he would stop throwing things at him.:(

  5. Pretty much this.

Throwing/breaking shit isn't just a rock and roll thing, it's also a guy thing. :p

If Matt wasn't wanging people with his guitar, we'd all be complaining about how old and boring he was instead.

I'd be more concerned about their friendship by the fact that Matt had no idea where Dom actually lived, in a recent interview.

I wouldn't be complaining but then I am old and boring myself.:D Why do fans need antics when they have such great music?

If you think about it, he's only been injured once by flying guitars, and if you compare that to the amount of times Matt's thrown them, I think he's gotten off pretty lightly

I'm sure Matt didn't meant to hurt him :p

Boy's will be boy's anyway; I have friends who will run up and punch each other in nuts then both laugh about it

That's a load of crap. Your friends sound like idiots but if they are aged 9 or 10 I wouldn't worry too much; they'll grow out of it. Matt is 35; it's time he grew up.

  6. I recently read that Dom said he has tried to learn when to anticipate Matt throwing the guitars at him so he can try to avoid them. If it were me, though, I'd have had enough by now and would get up and go after him! I think it's crazy though and Matt should really stop. What if he seriously injures him? It's really not funny. Matt can smash up his guitar all he wants or bust up the kick drum, but just stop throwing shit at Dom already.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who thinks this needs to stop. Seriously, Matt, he's meant to be your best friend. One day you're going to seriously injure him. It's not rock and roll; it's idiotic.

  7. Hi all. I'm new to the forum and all these posts are depressing the life out of me! I have yet to see Muse live but will be going to one of the London gigs in May 2013. I really don't care what they play; I'm just chuffed as hell to be going to a Muse gig.

  8. My daughter has a standing ticket for the Emirates Stadium, London. She saw Muse in 2010 at Wembley Stadium but had a seat. She didn't queue at all outside the venue, getting there when the doors opened, and there was lots of space in the pit because there were three support acts and a lot of people only came later to see Muse. She saw Radiohead in Berlin in September and queued from 7.00 am to get a place at the front. Do any of you who have been to Muse gigs in the UK know how early she would have to get to the venue if she wants to be at the front?
