About the rotating stage... didn't they say they would rotate slowly, so it's 2 whole turns for the entire gig? Here, it looks way faster than that, and then it just stops: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BK9HN3eoT3E Or did they mean they'll rotate the stage twice sometime during two songs?

Did I say YOU would have said that? Someone would have. Before all that evidence and analysing. Was your first thought really that it's a fake? Or did you just notice that discussion after it was all over?

Because he often messes up that solo and he stopped using the guitar way too often lately anyway? I bet if anybody would have said that the video was fake, the first reply would have been "you're such a fan boy/girl, not believing the obvious, blah blah". Eh, yes.

Yes. Yes, it would. I'm the first to admit I'm an easily pleased fan girl ("awwww they could just sing out of a telephone book and I'll be happy!!111!"), but if they ever *willingly* resort to miming, I'll be as angry as the most critical fan ever. I rather hear messed up solos and stuff than that.

Thanks. I'll have 4 gigs to try out where to stand best, so I don't worry too much. Knowing me, I'll stand as close to the middle stage as possible anyway. I don't really *need* the fancy visuals.

I still haven't gotten around to look at all those videos. Too much to do at the moment. :/ Do those visuals also look good from front rows GA or just from the seats? At least I have one seated gig booked. Just to get the whole experience, too.

It's true, I'm not a huge fan of all the extra stuff. Too bad the ticket prices include all those things... but no one forced me to buy them. I'm happy enough if I see the band and the sound is good. So any news about that "lowered stage" thing? Any reviews about the view from further back in GA? Not that I plan to stand there, but who knows how lucky I'll be.

Well, wasn't that clear from the start? That you won't see everything from GA? At least I was prepared for that when I bought mostly GA tickets.

Yes, true, maybe we won't get many videos. But I do hope enough people will tell us their experiences. From what I know of this board though, it'll mostly be "it was pure and utter shit!!!!!".

Of all the Drones videos, I like Dead Inside best. The dust dancing is kind of cool, imo.
