um
Yes, it looks like the performance is better.
-
The mixing of Starlight is so much better in the trailer than on HAARP, same goes for the camera shooting.
-
Not sure if you're missing my point by underlining that word...
I know you said sounds, doesn't change the fact that it could have been referring to what they were playing(performing) as opposed to how the mix sounded.
Let me make a new post then ...
-
You really would have needed to clarify that you were talking about mixing as opposed to the actual performanceStarlight sounds so much better in this trailer than on HAARP!
Nothing wrong with the performance itself and I'm sure it sounded better being there than on the DVD. I really hope for the people who where there.
But when we're talking performance I also think Starlight looks better in the trailer than on HAARP.
-
No. He plays guitar on the HAARP version. Automatically better.
Don't think it makes it much more different.
Have you heard mixing on HAARP? The bass sounds horrible in particular.
-
Starlight sounds so much better in this trailer than on HAARP!
I also like the guitar in Supremacy in the trailer better than studio.
-
My favourite opener is We Are The Universe too. It's just perfect.
If IS was two minutes shorter and Matt's guitar is shown on the pyramid at the end, it would top WATU.
So, between Unsustainable and IS I'd say Unsustainable works best as intro, but if I was going to a Muse show tomorrow I'd hope for IS as intro, it looks fantastic despite the too long length.
-
The seven songs I'd hear the most at a 20th ann. show:
Dead Star
Fury
Easily
Crying Shame
Micro Cuts
Bliss
Sing For Absolution
Plug In Baby and Knights also have to be there, but would be weird if they weren't on the setlist.
-
Stockholm, end of March. One gig.
Which will be cancelled and moved to Copenhagen a week later.
-
Wouldn't mind a new "questions and answering" on Twitter to get an update on those Russian/Swedish/Danish gigs for 2014.
-
Undisclosed Desires is shit.
Yes, but not as much as IBTY.
Guiding Light is good though.
-
Also, haven't heard Pink Ego Box in waaay too long.
Has to be the worst Muse song ever made.
-
I think they'd do something like Hard Rock Calling if anything - just a big one-off festival-concert thing.
Of course, how could I forget about Hard Rock Calling?! Actually I'm quite surprised they haven't done that one yet.
Hard Rock Calling + V Fest for summer 2014, anniversary gigs in between if they don't do them in the winter/spring.
-
They never really said that though... Just Matt said "no european festivals this tour", then in an interview about Glasto they said something like "you can't refuse to play at Glasto if you're asked to"
Doing Glastonbury "only" four years after their latest performance there will I say is unlikely, but I wouldn't reject it completely.
My money is on V Festival.

The Killers is one of my favorite bands and I admire how Brandon Flowers does his job as a front man. He seems like such a nice and relaxed guy, who loves what he and the band does.
I was at their Wembley show and the Wembley Song was a fantastic unexpected moment where it was like the band and crowd melted together and made the rest of the night even more spectacular!
-
It's an incredible encore, yeah.
I'm thinking Hyper Music would fit very well into it too.
Hyper Music
Dead Star
Micro Cuts
Stockholm
Take A Bow
-
Put Knights somewhere else and this would be a death sentence if the crowd was good.
No.
KoC outro -> Dead Star intro.
But it needs a very fast guitar change from Matt.
-
Let's all die happy together:
- New Born
- Bliss
- MK Ultra
- In Your World
- The Small Print
- Hyper Music
- Plug In Baby
- Hysteria
- Assassin
- Micro Cuts
- Knights of Cydonia
- Dead Star
- Agitated
- Yes Please
- Stockholm Syndrome
--- Unplanned encore - Feeling Good
- New Born
-
Despite Liquid State being the craziest circle pit I've ever been in
Really?
That surprises me.
In Berlin there was some action, but nothing compared to Bliss, KoC and Stockholm.
-
If we put Liquid State and Assassin before Micro Cuts I guarantee someone would die.
Let Plug In Baby open and add KoC to that section too.
-
10. Apocalypse Please
11. Sunburn
12. United States Of Eurasia
13. New Born
Always wanted to see New Born being the first song after a piano section, would work sooo well.
19. Micro Cuts
20. Stockholm Syndrome
21. Agitated
22. Yes Please
23. Dead Star
This would hurt my body so bad.
-
Haven't seen New Born live, but saw Bliss in Berlin and knew it would be good, but not that good.
I think NB would be good too, but it has something to live up to.
-
Out of all OOS rarities I really wanna see Hyper Music.
Me too.
I don't really listen much to it on the album, but I think it would kick so much ass live!
Speaking of OoS rarities I'm going with Darkshines .. that Reading performance!
-
A bit more optimistic try on Zepp Tokyo:

- Citizen Erased
- Follow Me
- Liquid State
- Madness
- Time Is Running Out
- Undisclosed Desires
- Plug In Baby
- Stockholm / New Born
- Exogenesis 1: Overture / Isolated System
- Uprising
----------------------- - Starlight
- Survival
- Unsustainable
