  1. They're in Japan on August 10th, so there's time needed to get to Asia, as well as their instruments and whatever production - likely just a video screen for a festival.

    Ah, that's right ...

    Let's then say 30-31 July/1-2 August. ;)

  2. I swear in the original listing it listed a Russia gig between Finland and a tour-closer in Denmark. At the very least it did have, as previously mentioned, a Danish gig following the Helsinki one, though I daresay having football on 4/08 means the Parken people said no.

Yes, FC Copenhagen plays in Parken on the 4th August, Rogers Waters' The Wall on the 11th and FC Copenhagen again on 18th.

Looks like it wouldn't be a problem to do a gig 6-9 August, so there must have been other circumstances to not let it happen.

  3. I think that because of all the gigs already booked, they were trying to book it in August or something. When the pre-sale stuff was announced, Denmark was at the end of the list, meaning it was supposed to be the last gig of the tour.

I'm quite sure it was actually the last on the list.

Still can't see the logic though.

FC Copenhagen are playing home on 4th and 18th August and Roger Waters' The Wall is on 11th August, shouldn't make problems

  4. They had tried to book Parken (from the start of the 2009 arena tour) for Denmark on this stadium tour, but it was fully booked all summer, I think.

If that's true I think it must be the venue's (Parken) management, who has made that descision.

There's nothing going on from 29th June (speedway) until 22nd July (Robbie Williams), so it's not because they are replacing the grass for the new football season or something in that period, since Robbie will do two shows.

  5. I know I'm gonna get attacked but I just had to step in and stick up for Guiding Light. I really like that song! It's not bad at all.

There are songs that are even better but if Muse want to play it, let them.

I'm with you here! Guiding Light is a beauty and I really like it! Although I think it's wierd they bring it back for these stadium shows and for Matt it sounds like a highlight of these shows.

But as much as I love Starlight as song, as much do I hate it as closer. I think it worked well being second to last at the arena shows with the big sing-a-long etc. before the grand finale, but see it closing at the moment is just a sad joke. :noey:

  6. So announcement for Denmark & Russia in the new year.

I only got the "Don't worry, Denmark!" on my Facebook since I'm Danish, so didn't know about Russia ... cool!

But still got my hopes high for they will end the stadium tour in Denmark !!!

  7. well a couple weeks back in a video interview, i cant remember which off the top of my head maybe someone else will, Dom actually said "Places like Wembley stadium you'll never get tired of playing.." so that kinda confirmed it for me back when watching that.

Quite sure you are talking about this at 0:51: "Playing Wembley Stadium never gets boring"

    ;)

Another quote but from Matt on why Berlin has been left out on this arena-tour: "Our big concert in Germany is gonna be in Berlin next summer"

    :D
