    I actually like the concept of this album, and whenever Matt's talked about it in interviews he seems to have a decent grasp of the themes. Shame he's translated that so literally.

    But surely there's still plenty of music being written by older musicians or without a demographic in mind? True, but even reordering the tracklist to fit a concept could affect the overall opinion of an album. Not to mention the horribly shoe-horned in lyrics and references to Drones.

    I don't want to grow up now That Classic Rock review did touch on a fear of mine; Matt's adherence to the theme has undermined the album. I want him to just write songs.

    Reviews don't concern me too much, positive or negative. Regardless, it's way too early to see what the critical consensus will be, anyway. What I really want to see is that Muse have made an album better than the last two.
