“Fate or Free Will?”
Romeo and Juliet’s life was cut short due to the decisions their elders had made. The circumstances in which confronted Romeo and Juliet varied. Circumstances such as, how to raise children, conforming to society‘s expectations, the feud between the Montague and Capulet households, and boisterous acts performed by the Nurse. Romeo and Juliet also has to take some of the blame for their untimely death. They should’ve learned from their parents mistakes and learn to be more honest. One would wonder if intelligence had been inserted into the circumstances of each household, would the outcome of Romeo and Juliet’s love be different.
The characters that impacted Romeo and Juliet’s life the most with their foolish decisions were Friar Lawrence and the Nurse. Friar Lawrence thought about the possible outcomes of his decisions, but he never thought, “What if it doesn’t work?”, and kept on going down the wrong path. The Nurse on the other hand never thought through her decisions. Together, Friar Lawrence and the Nurse cause part of the predicament of Romeo and Juliet. Still to blame is the Capulet parents and the society in which the lovers were born into. Society had taught all humans in the time of the play to marry and have children at a young age. Lord and Lady Capulet both wanted their only child, Juliet, to marry. Juliet’s parents had force her into a marriage with a man she didn’t want to marry. Of course in the beginning of this play her parents had addressed to her that Paris had wanted her hand, but she had never thought about marriage before.
Even though I think the adults in the play had “inspired” Romeo and Juliet’s death, they still made bad decisions themselves. They decided that they would marry again not thinking about the possible outcomes. Wisdom and common sense is a theme that every character lacks in this play.

the band came on first everyone did a small cheer and my friend and i were going crazy for the drummer guy we screamed "HEY DRUMMER GUY!!!" we didn't know his name and we still don't
