I'm listening to USOE, and getting a bit giggly because I remember how completely "WTF?" the board was like when the 3rd portion of it was released.
-
Escape, because these relatively new inner ears have helped me discover the delights of the backing.

Con-science
I used to not like it, found it boring. But lately I've started to love it, it's just great how it builds up and gets more intense. I really like it now.
Me too, just now. It's not that great, but it's interesting, and...it took some balls to release it.

I think we all want Paparazzi, after the sneak peek we got in 2009.
-
Dom could do the spoken parts and get credited in vocals for the first time evar
That would actually be immense.

I don't know if this already exits, but wha about:
"Enjoy the silence" by Depeche Mode
Well, arguably they've already done that with MOTP.
It would be pretty awesome though for them to do it, still. I can almost hear Matt saying 'enjoy the silence' at the end.

How about... Pretty Fly for a White Guy by The Offspring?
That would involve Matt speaking in a song.
"And evwybody finks he's pwitty fly fo a white guy!"

They just fucking played Exogenesis on BBC Radio 2 like 30 mins ago!!
It was LOVELY, made me want to come home and listen to it like I'm doing right now!!!

Oh, there's two threads.
-
I like how it's a shorter track. Invincible (which I keep comparing it with) was too long and took far too long to get going. It's a bit like Glorious too.
-
I think that this song would be one of the best songs to play live just because it would be the perfect song for Matthew to sing live. Just think about it... awesome or what?!?!
Invincible is similar and it's much better live, so this has a lot of potential.

We've got a thread.

Wow, shocker coming from Clunge!
+111111 this exactly!
I <3 the bass on this track and the POUNDING drum pattern. But yes, if not for this one, the whole of TR would get 11/10 from me! Instead, it gets 10 lol.
For me it's better than Invincible, Exo-Politics and Soldier's Poem from the last album, and about as good as Starlight. That makes it a pretty acceptable song- that is, until it gets released as a successful single. Then I'll not like it, simply because people should be listening to the other much better songs on the album.
-
I think this song is the worst on the album, but I don't hate it at all. It's nice actually. It's this album's Feeling Good, as in it's the song that stops it getting solidly high scores all round from me.

Sick, Sick, Sick - QOTSA
In The Fade - QOTSA
Any QOTSA song could be good, actually.
That could be fun, Matt's voice suits it, as do their rampaging riffs.

Love Game - Lady Gaga. Matthew singing to me he wants to ride my disco stick would turn me on fast. REAL fast.
Oh yes. Mmm I can hear it now.

Sigh, I had a muse dream not long before I woke up this morning.
I dreamt I was at the November Dublin gig, and conveniently it turns out the O2 is just an indoor Marlay Park. Muse came on and played a few songs, and I they were almost at ground level and I was at the barrier so I was like right in front of Matt. I kinda wanted to scream something to him, like "PLAY ESCAPE!" but I was too shy.
Then they went offstage for a break, and I was hanging around the side of the venue when suddenly the lads came around the corner and started chatting, and I struck up some conversation with them. They were standing like they do in photos, Dom on the left, Matt in the middle and Chris on the right.
And they started saying that they were thinking of performing some 'rare stuff' tonight. I got all excited and went "really?", covering my mouth with my hand like that crazy fat girl on Youtube who likes Twilight.
And Dom was all like "Yeah, we're thinking of playing some P***** and S******, you know like Finnish bands?" The Finnish bands didn't even exist, they were just Finnish sounding names. And they sounded metal to me, so I was like "Oh, that sounds like fast drumming for you. You up for it? Then again Muse has plenty of fast drumming songs. Stockholm is a good workout..."
And Chris, who left momentarily, came round the corner and smiled and put up one finger, to mean one minute. And I was all like thanks for talking with me, and they were smiling and walking back to the stage and then I woke up.

My nearest HMV have played Origin of Symmetry and BHAR in their store.
Last year there was a festival in Belfast town (I can't remember what it was for) and they (badly) choreographed some fireworks to Unintended and Feeling Good.
