So...I was messing with my guitar today for the first time in a good while...and I was like, "I'll play that riff that just goes along the low E string...New Born that's it...did I almost forget the riff to New Born?"
This reminded me that I actually haven't listened to Origin of Symmetry, perhaps even New Born, for...well over a year, perhaps two. Yes, with this nickname of mine.
So I've put it on now...I've got to Hyper Music right now... My impression so far is...fuck me does Matt sing through his nose or what? Seriously though, this is a very uncanny feeling, I know all the songs but I'm hearing them in quite a different light now. Let me grab my cane and dentures.

Hey fellow muse fans. I have a friend who trashes on muse basically everyday. He argues that Daft Punk is better. Obviously, any coherent individual would know you cant argue who sounds better when it is an opinion question, but he doesn't understand this. I know muse is a much larger band than daft punk but can anyone provide links with comparisons in ticket sales or album sales? For example how muse was the first band to sell out wembley stadium.

I'm pretty eager for them to go off the deep end at this stage, TR and T2L were too similar to one another. But they probably won't, they'll just mess around with some riffs and add pomp. Nothing wrong with that really.

People need to fucking listen to Achtung Baby before they slag U2. They've been pretty chart-hungry for the last few years but Achtung Baby is proper alternative rock, properly dark and distorted and dense musically while retaining an accessible sensibility.

They had a round of rock bass players and Chris was one of them. Scored one point.

I'd agree with the likes of RBS, Screenager and Megalomania. Even Endlessly seems quite dark to me, even though the lyrics are supposedly positive, the music is pretty haunting.
Oh, and Hoodoo. Couldn't forget Hoodoo. Very dark.
