  1. Hope everyone is having a nice holiday season. I had heaps of food on Saturday (the fridge is still full of some leftovers) and the boxing day sales are awesome. Grinderman was the main deciding factor to go but I'm also looking forward to see several kiwi bands and check out a few other internationals. If I go to the main stage it'll probably be only to check out Rammstein's pyro show.
  2. Haven't heard anything from The Greenhornes, may have to check them out then. I just have the decision to make on whether to leave LCD Soundsystem early to get close for The Phoenix Foundation and Grinderman. But if it's true that it is LCD's last tour it'll be a shame to miss their full performance.
  3. Yeah the rain just did not stop nearly all day. But it's good though to fill up the water supplies and prevent or lessen the effects of this summers drought. The little pateke pond on Tiritiri was already pretty low when I last went, this rain hopefully filled it back up for the little ducks Wow. I'm a little jealous though since I still haven't had much experience with snow. Is that a random person or Oren?
  4. Good thanks! But my data analysis is going so slow, so much more to do and the thesis is suppose to be in by the end of February How about yourself? The sunbears are so cute! Love the high five one Aww, he needs to come back for our viewing pleasure. And the showers occur when walking between buildings of course. We have the fire exit door open for a nice refreshing breeze.
  5. Oh awesome, sounds good. Yeah they could have easily just brought over a few bits and pieces (or even nothing!) for a simple show again, but I guess Warner said no or Muse think we are more interested in the pretty lights than the music
  6. Excellent! I'm looking forward to seeing them at BDO. Nice! What was the movie? Damn, Sunburn and Bliss. That would have been sweet. Maybe it was a good thing they didn't come back here then because if they gave us a setlist without any goodies I'd be furious
  7. Nice. I've been to a karaoke place in Newmarket a couple times lately and it's quite a nice place. The song data base isn't that big though (no Muse) so I don't think I'll enjoy it as much if I go again since I'm done with most of the songs I want to sing but my friend loves it. That reminds of the series Bottom that I've been watching a lot this year. Just about everything is first interpretted as a sexual innendo, it's funny stuff though.
  8. Yes! I'd love to destroy all those things but I don't want to buy them first Maybe I could print out Palin and put it on a glass cup to smash. But ugh, I don't want to clean up the mess I need an air rifle. Destroying a tin can with mulitple shots is rather satisfying.
  9. I saw it a few months ago and loved it too! Twinkies!!! As for ice cream matter, I think you guys have sorted it out. I got the jelly tip tub version the other day as they didn't have any plain strawberry ice cream But it's good Argh, I'm so fustrated with everything these days and now problems with getting no internet at home is making it worse I need something to destroy to vent some anger out! Hope everyone else is fine!
