Hey guys. Long time no see, time has been passing by so fast for me. I finally finished my thesis on Friday! I still don't feel very relaxed from it yet though, waiting for the weather to clear up for a little holiday. Hope everyone had a good holiday season. plus to all the other pics posted as well. One of my uncles was on his lunch break and was watching that. He turned around to leave and then he heard THUD!! That was her falling to the ground At first people were stunned because they weren't sure if that was part of the stunt but then he saw her hand move and blood which is when people realised it was a fall and called the ambulance. My uncle couldn't believe she only broke her cheek bones with the sound of her landing. Oh, sorry to hear about that, glad your're all ok. Sorry to hear about that too. Hope they find him soon!

Hey guys. I am undecided about BDO too. I'm quite keen on going to see Fleet Foxes and going to Laneway Festival at the moment which are also in January. I'll wait and see what the second announcement is like. Haha, that software is going to be more entertaining than useful! Yeah, that is an irritating sight. Poor little penguins getting oiled up and it looks like the beaches are going to be in a pretty nasty state soon Hope it doesn't do too much damage to the reef too!

Yeah it was good thanks. It was nice to spend some time there since I haven't been there for quite a while. It was also good to have some time to talk to my supervisor. If she gets the funding she has applied for, she would like to employ me over the summer to monitor bellbird nests on Tiri or perhaps a joint job of monitoring bellbirds and robins at Tawharanui. So fingers crossed! Oh ok. Yeah, that seems like more of a space filler when there is no other big news. Good story in that it might make people more aware that there are places who will take pets instead of just dumping them into the wild.

I was on Tiri from Sunday til yesterday, so it wasn't ideal having a cold snap when over there but it wasn't too bad. Getting hail in the bush was pretty fun. Oh dear That's a good first line though What was the story on? Well technically your not talking to yourself, just typing

Thanks! Hope it heals quick too, I'm doing light walking and it seems to help. Don't know how long I should wait though before going hiking again. Haha, some people huh Thanks! I made yummy strawberry cup cakes instead of a big cake. Yeah and we are more likely to say kiwi lollies (or moa here).

Belated happy birthday to Lenny! Ooh, I don't mind a bit of gory details. I don't have much involvement with physiology these days I've been in a bit of a bad mood the last 3 weeks from a ghastly pain around my lower calf muscle. It was really bad for the first 2 weeks and I spent several hours at the emergency clinic only to find out what it's not, as I went because there was no obvious cause so thought it could be a blood clot or something. Got as far as the ultrasound but it was clean. It's not so bad now though. Can't drive much though because that makes it sore again The Food Show in the weekend cheered me up though. So much yummy food!! Woah, that is cool. If she said the "yeah maybe" in a high-ish girly voice, that's definately a yes. That child is going to be nicknamed either bing or ham. Is there a poll on that yet? WHY THEY SPOIL OUR TRADITIONS AND FUN!!! Congratulations!

I just bought a new telescope off trademe. It's not a well recognised brand but it's all I can afford at the moment so I hope it's at least slightly better than the one I already have. The tripod and stability of my current telescope is quite wonky, making it quite hard to look at something for very long...

Haha, that sounds like a cool shortcut. Hitting yourself in the face with the car door is probably more of a skill than falling on your butt as soon as getting out of the car... In the weekend I discovered how awesome and refreshing it is to have a Rotorua mud mask while drinking beer and watching a movie. Glad I bought a tube of mud instead of a single sachet so I can do it again at the end of the week.
