i know you're not online or on msn at the moment, but check it out - the guitar i sent you pics of yesterday http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=jTYQA8zjRCQ
nice, yes?
-
hey - mic is going out tomorrow (thursday). sorry about the delay - was stuck inside for the past two days for various reasons. it's already packed up and ready. i'll send you the tracking once it's on its way....
ALSO, if you get this by tomorrow morning (sending it tomorrow afternoon sometime)....do you prefer any shipping service in particular? can send fedex, UPS, or USPS (which becomes royal fail over there)
because Jackplug had sent me something by royal fail and it got returned to him a few days later...I can try fedex if you want. it shoudl be fairly faster. (less than five working days I'd say)

Hey Impulse,
I know you have some EMG loaded guitars, so I thought I'd ask for your opinion first. Do you know anything about the single coil sized ones? I'm asking because I'm picking up a guitar with what I believe are EMG selects. For $20 each, I'm not sure what to think. These are older ones, so they could be different.
I can't say I loved the EMGs I've used before, but hopefully these won't be too bad.

hey sexy
shatter should be here in a few hours. I'm really not sure about switching out the MQ pickup now....sherpa_man told me it was wound to match the neck pickup which was pretty high output.
To be honest, I don't use the neck MQ in my other one for high gain, and I don't have a bridge MQ in any of my guitars. How are you finding the bridge MQ in your black-o-caster with higher gain stuff? (I can't remember how they were when I had them)

Hey Tom,
Yeah, I still have a few pictures of it:
To be honest, I found it a bit plain when it looked like that. It's mainly because I think the original owner wanted a Muse-themed guitar, but didn't want to spend extra on an aluminum finish.
Close enough!
But I think it could look nice if done properly. Maybe on a different shape, and without a fuzz factory.

hey trad3mrak
not sure if you've seen my message in teh knt, but hows the guitar holding up? (I can never remember its name for some reason).
and when is the next one planned??!/1/1
also, since the londaxe is a very unstable guitar (my techs words) so i'm going to have a clone made one way or another. got to decide on the specs, and who will build it (thinking maybe hooglebug?)

hey..i saw you were asking about emex guitars etc on youtube (or at least i think that was you)

Hey
Did you get the wah peddle by any chance? It did go out a bit later than it was supposed to, but I would expect it to be there around now.
-
Hey
Here's something that might interest you.
You know the Manson/BKP humbucker?...was just playing the Custom T which has that pickup, and that pickup seems to have a LOT to do with Matt's sound..

Sounds exactly like that if dialed in properly...it has that b33fy mid tone to it. (which the nailbomb lacks).

Hey
I know you said you didn't like the Diezel Einstein compared to the VH4, but this guy is DOING IT WRONG!

Hey
I'm not actually sure what a grounding plate is - if you're asking how it's ground, it's the same way as a tune o matic. I can't explain it well, but...you basically have a wire touching the bottom of the post, and that has to go through the body to the control cavity. hopefully that made sense

Hey
In response to your post in that now locked thread...I checked, and the whammy went out last friday I believe. Should be there by the 5th at the latest, but don't quote me - the mail has been really ghey lately
-
Hmm...just thought I'd ask. I sorted the issue with the strings flying out of the nut on that guitar (lowered the tuner poles - compared to the tele they were a LOT higher)...
might sound stupid, but would that add any tension to the neck? i had the strings off for a day, but the side where the tuners were adjusted has bowed somewhat. Other side is normal.
