Nearly all of Psycho, especially the afoementioned 'i'll turn you into a superdrone' and 'your ass belongs to me now now now'

'Save me from the cloaks and shadows before they eat my soul'

'You've got the CIA babe'

'Whilst I am giving Infinity' *vomits*

'on the outside im the greatest guy'

Obviously focusing on the recent songs, there are some proper awful lyrics

I used to think that Escape had really cringey lyrics, but I'm willing to forgive it on the grounds that it's an intensely personal song for Matt as he wrote it about his parents' spectacularly messy divorce when he was 13 years old.

Anyways:

"Brainwashing our children to be mean"

If I hadn't known better I'd have thought this was a Marge Simpson quote.

"You stole my overture"

If I hadn't known better I'd have thought this was a Ralph Wiggum quote.

"I wanna speak in a language that they'll understand"

Um... no.

"Counterbalance this commotion/We're not droplets in the ocean"

Stretching for a rhyme much?

"I thought I was a fool for no one, but ooh baby I'm a fool for you"

This makes any cringey Drones lyrics look like fucking Shakespeare.

"It's time the fat cats had a heart attack"

Subtle as a clown with its cock hanging out.

"I have played in every toilet/But you just want to spoil it/To prove I've made a big mistake"

I think the first part sums it all up.

"Controlling my feelings for too long/And forcing our darkest souls to unfold/And pushing us into self destruction"

Actually all the lyrics on this song are so bad they're hilarious but this takes the cake.

"I'm gonna make you/I'm gonna break you/I'm gonna make you/A fuckin' psycho"

I think the "make"/"break" rhyme scheme needs to be retired from music immediately.

"M-m-m-m-m-m-m-m-mad-mad-mad"

Whoever told him that was a good idea needs to be fired.

Definite troll. Some of those lyrics are genius.

You've got strength, you've got soul

You've felt pain, you've felt love

You can grow, you can grow

You can make this world what you want

If you told me they were lyrics from a One Direction song, I'd have no trouble believing it.
