sorry miele, i don't actually watch all these 'underworld' movies.. i don't like vampires except the Cullens and The Legacy of Kain. the only vampire/ dracula movie i've ever watched was one which had Leslie Nielsen in it. can't remember what's it called but it was really funny and merepek at the same time haha.. but chop. i did watch Interview with a vampire too though. lol

what the... I mean, seriously I've always imagined Aro to be ... well, extremely pale and you know ... the knowledgeable creepy old man and certainly not hot, gorgeous and tan!!! He could play Benjamin in Breaking Dawn maybe or one of the European nomads etc.

 

Adding yet another British import to the cast really wouldn't hurt however. But eeekkk, for the love of well, vampires, I hope Ben Barnes' not serious about playing Aro. Though I guess he would make a really gorgeous vampire - but I don't think I want to fight with other Twilighters to get tickets to the première or something if Ben Barnes' in it.

 

Besides, Aro doesn't exactly beat Edward in the looks department now, does he? Ben Barnes would totally put Robert Pattinson to shame :X

AJFD;SLFJLA turns out I couldn't go to singapore this weekend. Had some relatives over instead. MEH. I even got my Passport renewed and stuff man, and I skipped a mock exam just to renew my passport! fksjaf;dlfa.

yes. he's gay. that novel was supposedly the reason of his downfall as a writer. he critized a lot of people esp the ones in the canon in that novel.

Apparently he changes a lot of philosopher's/poet's quotes and stuff, to make it all corrupted to match his story and to match the screwed up theories Lord Henry makes. HOW GAY. no pun intended

EHHH YEAH I HEARD. about Ben Barnes playing Aro. I cant believe it. I imagined someone like Bill Nighy to play Aro. especially after seeing the way he acted in Underworld, he seems perfect la. I've always imagined Aro to be this suuuuper old translucent-skinned man who is really sweet but really deep down inside he's like the closest thing to the devil like Navy Jones la ahhaha. Aro cant be a pretty boy!! what is the director thinking man....

 

and err yeah, +891534168745621 to everything you said about Ben Barnes being Aro. he'll totally trump the hot-ness bar over Rob la. and the twilighters will ALL go gaga over him instead of Rob. Then Ben will be officially overrated and therefore unattractive to me :'( which sucks because I want him to be my husband! not-so-overrated and sold-out, you know?

 

I wanna watch Australia! Well, actually, initially i didnt have any interest for it. but when my friend told me that the director directed Moulin Rouge, aka my favourite movie, WAH I MUST WATCH IT. Though, I dont think the story has anything to do with Moulin Rouge... but oh well. haha.

Oh yes on a very random note, after Christmas dinner yesterday with my family, we headed over to the nearest cinema to catch Yes Man. I've never been a huge Jim Carrey fan but since my sister already got the tickets I had no other choice but to watch it. Despite the movie being rather predictable, I can't help but smile at several LOL moments, notably during the Harry Potter party. Hahhaa omg being the dork that I am, I felt like I wanted to throw a Harry Potter dress-up party as well. Not only that, the movie actually featured pretty good songs! But you'll really have to have a lot of patience over Jim Carrey...

Btw guys, I had a super Baz Lurhmann film marathon this week. I've watched Australia, Moulin Rouge and William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet (got R&J as a christmas present WOOHOO)!! and I cried (well not really cried la, just teared up. like, a lot. ) in all 3 movies haha... ha..... I'm such a sap. liek srsly. I'm a sucker for romance movies. wuwuwu. I love how he dramatizes the scenes though. its like, a bit OTT, but not TOO OTT until it gets stupid, you know? its OTT enough

Sooo how did you guys spend your New Years? I went ber-grinding-grinding with the rempits at The Curve last night.

Just kidding about the grinding btw but it was SO PACKED we might as well lah hahahaha. and they were spraying all that fake snow stuff, which was damn annoying because my friends and I wanted to watch the fireworks, not get fake snow in our eyes and aerosol in our lungs!

Yeah buying an iPod here is about RM600 as well. Pretty much the same la. Worse comes to worst I'd have to spend about RM50 bucks more.
