hey! the HAARP dvd can be bought through the muse online store

and i think it can be shipped to malaysia too

it'll sum up to a total of 22.65 pounds (deluxe edition) including the shipping cost

that is roughly rm150, but i don't care, i want it!

is online shopping safe?

do you guys think it's safe to buy the dvd through the muse online store?

i'm always afraid that it might get lost in the mail or something

and also, the dvd arriving not in a good shape

and i have no idea what i'm going to do with my life too! but i do have English (or TESL) and Mass Comm in my list.. but Mass Comm requires a high confident level and i have a really huge issue with my own self confidence, i'm too shy! the shy-est person ever! and i suck at socialising.. i think i might have the Asperger syndrome or something

 

and i also have Performing Arts-Managing in my list. i'd love to manage a band or something and go on tour and meet other bands and find myself a rockstar boyfriend and the band i manage might do a show with muse at a festival or something and i might meet MATTHEW and dump my rockstar boyfriend and have Matt as my boyfriend instead and we live happily ever after!!!!!! hahahah angan2 mat jenin

I'm not exactly comfortable being in front of an audience too.. But there was once I talked about my Muse concert experience during an impromptu speech and I thought I did pretty well So now usually if I have to speak in public, I would try to incorporate my presentation with something I would enjoy talking about. Haha.

 

Aww, I've always wanted to be a tour manager or some sort too.. You know, being involved in the music scene but technically not a musician.. More like one of those behind the scenes crew There was one point I was actually being serious about starting my own recording studio. Parents weren't exactly supportive with that idea however.

this is brilliant. i've got mates to go stalk incubus at KLIA!

 

i doubt they'll be arriving in the afternoon, as the flight will depart quite early in the morning (consider 2 or 3 hours earlier to check in) so my bet is on the later flight. but yeah.. u got a point in saying that they might opt for other airlines. the last time they were, it was thai airways and they depart in the evening from bangkok. they would suffer killer jet leg if they are to arrive on the 15th itself, don't u think? and doesn't shanghai have 2 airports? lol.. now suddenly stalking 'em seems very problematic.. heh.. however, as u said, we'll wait for interviews to plan this properly..lol.

Hmm. True. I suppose they'll take the night flight seeing that they just got off two back to back concerts in Shanghai. I've just decided if that's the case, I'll steal borrow my mom's car and drive to the Putrajaya KLIA Transit station at night Oh yeah, there are two airports in Shanghai, MAS however only flies from the Pudong airport. I think chances should be pretty high that they will be flying on MAS. I checked a few other airlines, and they don't have a direct flight to Malaysia. Singapore, at the very least. But I'm still not too sure, of course Maybe there's a media promoter person that we could send an e-mail for conformation? Or ask fellow Shanghai Incubus fans to stalk them in the airport on Friday

 

If it's at night though - there goes all our Colbie Caillat plans.

on other news, ben kenny is sick! incubus's two chinese shows were acoustic with mostly brandon and mike on the guitar. it actually sound cool for a small concert, but for a festival? hope he gets well soon.

ohhhhh i too have a problem being in front of an audience, though last year i recited a poem in front of the whole assembly and the feeling was horrible oh and i told the world about my Muse concert experience through my English SPM trial paper, mwahahahah!

 

and i do too want to be in the music industry but only behind the scenes. i wish to be a part of a tour or something, i love travelling =) BUT like you, i don't know if my parents would be happy about being involved with music

i would feel the same if i were u. better luck next time PIS doesn't sound as good as PMS i reckon. but am suffering major PIS now. got back at 330 am and could only sleep at 5 am for like 3 hours. the first thing i did when i woke up was you tubing the festival while smiling and laughing alone. adoi... at least i suffered no bruises this time around in comparison to Muse's gig.

hey thanks a lot for those lovely photos. at least there's one with Jose. yeah.. it's a shame the photos were quite blurry and dark.. but at least there's something.

 

the festival was great la i think. i only got there like 9pm, so i missed a lot unlike miele who got to see gigi, hujan and others. one thing i can't forget was how miele, my friend and i as well as the rest of the incubus crowd had to 'layan' incognito (r&b , jazzy kinda ermm band) performing while waiting for incubus. anything for incubus man..

 

incubus was eefffffffffing AWESOME. i can't believe that Brandon took of his shirt! so sexy la weiii... esp the part where he was streching his arms during sick sad little world (??) there were long and kick arse intros (megalomaniac, nice to know u and pistola as well i think) and jammings (sick sad little world, pistola (brandon played the guitar) and some other i can't remember). i love it la when jose and brandon were jamming together. i got to see Jose up close this time around and my crush on Mike is now stronger and deeper that could it be am falling in love with him?? haha.. omg, PIS attack!

Yeah man, standing through Incognito was pretty ... long. Lol but my friends and I sought eye candy from the guys playing the saxaphone I was standing right up front in the

middle - but then several people started pushing through cutting right in front of us. We gave in eventually and when the moshing started during AKTSUO, it got pretty bad. My smaller petite friend was pushed all the way to the front and she had to literally crawl back 7-8 lines behind the barrier to get back to me! We were at the festival since 3pm and I have to say it was rather exhausting. But amazing nonetheless! Incubus really made it allllll worth it. And when he took his shirt off.... Squeeeeeee! Brandon Boyd has got to be the only person that can pull off skinny jeans. (No wait, I stand corrected - Matt too ) lol okay sorry for the fangirly moment, but really I can't help it!!

 

Towards the end, I'm not sure if it was during Circles or Aqueous Transmission - but Brandon kneeled down and leaned his head against the mic? Gosh - I had a perfect view and he seemed so symetrical with the mic parting his face in equal halves! Too bad I couldn't snap a picture of that moment however! I wish someone had though.

 

The down part about a huge outdoor festival though - I couldn't really hear Brandon's voice I have to say. Maybe the crowd drowned his voice especially the guy behind me who wouldn't stop screaming instead of singing along, but I have to say the sound system was a bit of a disappointment. I couldn't hear the perfect bass line from Ben! And Jose's drums were all swallowed up - in a way. Mike was amazing though esp during his solo. Perhaps I shouldn't ask for too much given that this is an outdoor festival.

 

Thanks for the vids btw! Loved the part when Ben and Brandon started singing "hold the wheel and drive" x82390423 Perfect harmony! I just noticed though - the first Incubus show in Malaysia was in March 16th 2004. Ironically, four years later way past midnight they perform again on March 16th 2008

 

I'm sure I have a lot more to add to this but right now I gotta go pack coz I'm leaving home in a few hours! Sigh.
