shining_dark Posted July 23, 2009 Author Share Posted July 23, 2009 Uh it doesn't really need to be EXACTLY the same, just roughly, so we should just listen to MB's version and get that rough tempo, it'll be too hard to play along and replicate exactly because of 1. he uses a lot of rubato, which you should when playing chopin, so all our interpretations will be different, and 2. he actually plays a few things differently to the sheet music All we need to do is make sure we use no rubato in time when the strings come in.
